Sometimes linen won't even cut it. The only linen piece of clothing that is actually cooling is a pair of pants I got from a brand called black ficus. I hate the cut too but I wear them because theyre like AC for my legs

Yeah it’s the first summer where I’ve really looked out for linen pieces and I’m loving them. As you say, they’re classic as well so should be able to wear them for years!
I recommend linen in winter! Its hollow fibres have insulating properties and of course wicks water to keep you dry. Just wear it all year round.

Mango also makes pretty nice linen clothing. Prices vary but I’d say it’s below COS and above Uniqlo.

Hey James! A bit irrelevant but would you still get a size M in your COS heavyweight t shirt now, or would you size down? I'm thinking of getting it but I'm going through a similar phase where I prefer the look of a slimmer fitting t shirt, not as wildly oversized and baggy as before. Thank you! For reference I'm about 5ft9, 150 pounds and I usually get the same size as you in pieces we both have. And getting pieces tailored is not a problem where I live if need to
