The reason this is the best comment ever & why the 60's aren't done with us. It's because we're listening and discovering things that we or I myself probably missed in the 60's. Especially when certain songs that didn't make charts or weren't played on the radio. Not everyone had FM RADIO in those days. That's why it's the best comment ever.
As a 23 year old all I can say is I got blasted with a bunch of 50s and 60s music and I haven’t stopped listening.. all my friends are wondering where I’m pulling all these sick ass tracks from🔥
I was a kid, had a Stingray bicycle and i taped a transistor radio to the handle bars to listen to the British invasion bands on the radio. In the summertime on most days after breakfast my friends and i would be out on our bikes all day. Once the street lights came on we had to head home.
It has so many elements of 1950-60s rock (Chuck Berry, similarities to Johnny Kidd and The Pirates' Shakin' All Over, the solo responding to the vocal), but the moment when the bass is most evident in that partial break is so genius. That's one of the nicest things I've ever heard.
This is ahead of its time because this tune is verging on Punk Rock. 10 or 15 Yrs later Punkers took their music to another level. This song is cool Cos it Rocks !!!
I am old enough to remember this era, and loved garage rock as a kid in the '60s, but many of the bands were known only in their own area so I am constantly discovering more. Thanks for the uploads!
I was born in the late forties, and I never heard most of these songs either, up until the likes of You Tube. We listened to scratched up 45's and to A.M. (mono) Radio. No stereo, or headphones, but we loved every minute of it.
tous ces groupes totalement inconnus en france me font bien plaisir a decouvrir , bon son ,mise en valeur , thanks thanks thanks , i really appreciate it , some more please!! bisous
When I listen to this garage rock it makes me wanna listen to Agent Orange, Descendents and TSOL. Its like 1981 SoCal skate punk had a 60s garage revival!
I don’t give a toss about the 60s; lol, I just like good rock, and it just happens that the early/mid part of that decade produced most of the best rock ever done. “Nostalgia” isn’t in it, to me.
Well I’ve got a little girl and she lives right down by the way. She’s a pretty little girl gonna love her everyday. Well She’s so fine I’ve got her head right down by my side. @@hugbug4408 I suppose we all hear what we wanna hear! 😊👍🏽 I’d call it straight garage punk, but it’s of no importance what I call it, however, it’s damn great either way.😀

This track should be in everyone's top 10 garage tunes 👌

I love finding these obscure 50s and 60s garage rock-esque tracks like these. This ROCKS HARD!

Increíble el sonido igual al de The Rolling Stones en su etapa con Brian Jones.

Good!
Tuff and intense in sound and beat , but it Rocks.
