My heart goes out to the family of the officer💙 It is small consolation for the huge loss they are facing. If the district attorney opposed the criminal's release, who is responsible?! Investigate and hold someone's feet to the fire! This tragic and senseless loss of life due to repeat offenders has to stop.
But you keep releasing them... this could have easily been delayed but not avoided.

Releasing a person who had altered a gun to be more deadly, of course the officer's death could have been prevented! Whomever released him without bond should be held accountable for the officer's death and provide for his family!
