    Really nice tutorial Wolfgang. I come from "Solidworks School", and Catia is in a different level. Your tutorials are helping me a lot.
    Would be nice if you, at the begining of the video, showed the drawing of the final product, with all dimensions. This way we could try to reach the final result, and follow your steps to improve or clarify any doubt we, viewers, might had.
    Thanks and continue the good work.

      I can´t show the drawing - because there is no drawing ;)

    • @Ultimatebeatdastreet
      @Ultimatebeatdastreet 6 лет назад

      I bet a guy with your expertise would make one in 5 seconds xD

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  6 лет назад

      Perhaps ;) , but those dimension are completely made up, so it doesn´t really matter.

    • @Ultimatebeatdastreet
      @Ultimatebeatdastreet 6 лет назад

      But the point was just to have something similar to an academic exercise. And then, follow your steps and check the solution (by watching your video) :)

      I see, but neither time nor money to do more than I already do with my videos without earning money with these videos. There are no ads at all, despite being a youtube-partner for a very long time. So I will consider providing drawings but I can´t promise anything, sorry.

    awesome video! I like it with its little mistakes how we can learn from. The only thing what could be better, pls give everything dimensions to follow you step by step till the end. My wing looks really similiar but my re-build would take less time without trying to find the right value. But its just a little point, Great lesson! Thank you, Sir!

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  6 лет назад +1

      Thanks, as it is completely made up, the dimensions really don´t matter at all. Just use your own.

    • @fkfalkkevin
      @fkfalkkevin 6 лет назад +1

      Wolfgang Walden yes, I agree. But while you know what you are building, your viewers have to guess what it is until you finished the Form. But anyway, just a little point. Very good video!

    Nice and easy explanation. This shows your grip on the commands and the software. Great 👍
    I'm also an automotive enthusiast and CATIA designer. I have learned the commands but still not so clear about using them. When the Part design is used, where GSD is used and how to use, I am facing trouble.😢 Can you help me understand the difference and need of each module by giving these types of model example

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  11 месяцев назад

      for surface design you need gsd - for solid design you need part design - and you can mix both 😉

    Hello Wolfgang. At 30:56 in your video you opened a 2nd window with the options of different "Coupling" I was not able to open this window by any means. Can you please explain how to get this window open so i can make the selection "Tangency the Curvature Coupling" ?....Thanks

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  6 лет назад

      Maybe it is not included in your license. You can change these settings in the usual dialog window as well. This menu is sort of redundant.

    • @gman5986

      I thought maybe in Tools/Customize I might find a command to ad it but I'm not that familiar with this area of Catia workbench yet,

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  6 лет назад +1

      @@Nikkhlya R16 should even run on very low specs. Depends on what you want to do, for big assemblies you would need 16-32 Gb Ram and a decent Graphics Card.

      So that front wing is completely made up. It is just to show you the ways/methods to create such a model.

    Hello sir. Can you please make a video on how to make f1 front wing as per 2018 rule with those complicated glaps design. You can use the pdf from Fia website for 2018 front wing. I facing tough time designing the series of flap and im feeling helpless.

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  6 лет назад +1

      I will consider it, but I´m still very very busy. To do a model with those flaps would take a lot of time, even for myself.

      @@wolfgang.walden.cad.training Thanks for your response sir. I'll wait for it. i'm checking with other website and your this video was big help. but making those complicated flaps design is a challenge right as i'm making one wing based on 2019 rules.
