A little late, but for anyone watching! I bought this and the lady at Sephora suggests spraying it in the lid, and then using a brush to spread it out!
That's how I actually do it.. never tried the spray method, coz by the sound of it, it seems messy

+Gen4505 You didn't watch the whole video. First she showed what a mess it is to spray it on, then she brushed it on, like the professional that she is. Cheer up! Advice from this car salesperson/makeup artist.
I like how you do a flash photo test and know how when you can see your blush that it indicates a good product this is why I've always watched these videos from you

I love love this foundation. people may say what's the point of getting it when you're not using it correctly, but even with a brush, the finish is flawless!

I love Judy's review videos above everyone else's. She goes straight to the point. Most other beauty gurus take like 3 minutes explaining why they have been away, or why their voice sounds funny, etc. Judy is like wham bam thank you ma'am and she's great at it. Also, best lighting!

This is my holy grail! I find it is way easier to apply by spraying on a stippling brush and then applying!! LOVE IT

I still remember the first impression video you had on the old Sephora airbrush foundation.. God, that was hilarious! Sephora definitely stepped up their game!

Also, I found that to use it by spraying it directly on my face, without having to use a towel or it to get messy, I just sprayed it towards the center of my face, then used my fingers or a buffing brush to work the foundation towards the edges of my face. No mess! I hope this helps :)

I love that ever matte primer! That gives me an idea that I should do a wear test video on it, because I've only ever used it in a tutorial for the Becca One Perfecting Brush. Glad I scrolled through the comments! Lol
I LOVED my Dior Airflash but I hated the price. Also, I felt like I lasted less than 10 applications! It's been a while since I bought it, and I've been wanting to purchase it again because I just loved the way it made my skin look! After watching this review, I am definitely going to try the Sephora. Thank you so much for making this!!

It comes in light shades as well. I believe fair (or light?) is the lightest and it should suit even the palest skin tone :)

Great review.....but you were holding the can WAY to close to your face girl!
You have to hold it further away and start from the top of your head and work your way down to your chin, if you want more coverage repeat that another time (In back in forth motions not circler like you were) - I think you will like the results better when spray from the can to your face but holding further away. You really just have to think of it as if you were spray painting like a wall. I'd say it takes time and technique to get it down right but it becomes really easy to apply and looks beautiful! (I work at Sephora btw hehe) :) love your videos!
if you spray it on a damp beauty blender and dab it on it's weightless and gives great coverage I love ittt
You should do a comparison. Wear half a face of sephora and half dior

at first I thought "hell no!", all over your hair and seemed like such a task just for foundation but after seeing the results, I may give it a try! I guess it's more for special occasions, not every day use...Great review Judy, love your 1st impressions!!
Judy, you're so pretty. You look like you're just 20. Something's different (in a good way) maybe it's the straight hair vs curly hair that makes you look so young and fresh. Anyway, thank you for this review, I am almost out of my Dior and I can't wait to give this a try.

Just watched your first impression for Sephora's first airbrush foundation. This is by far MUCH better! It suited you perfectly. Wish there was a Sephora in New Zealand.

Because of you Judy, I went out and bought this foundation. This is the first "high end" foundation i bought and I LOVE it. I don't find it lasting 10 hours on me without budging, but my skin does feel flawless. This foundations is light-medium coverage on your first layer. If you have acne scaring, don't expect this foundation to cover it up. For a full coverage appearance a good two layers will do the trick. However, in my personal opinion this foundation with 2 layers can look cakey and "too flawless" if that makes sense.

I have used the Dior for several years, just not everyday! I love it but I have always put down a kleenex and sprayed it on a brush! I am going to buy the Sephora and try it. You can't beat the difference in price! Thanks for the review!

They do it so there skin isn't completely naked. So people aren't confident with how they look with no makeup at all

Thank you Judy. I just got myself my own Sephora's Airbrush foundation. And I do love it. But its kinda hurts when I spray it on the top of my hand. Otherwise, my foundation looks flawless. Totally airbrush!!!

Judy! I've been wanting this foundation for the longest time because of this review, I ordered it online and was so excited! I just tried it out today by spraying it on my hand and using a brush, now i actually really hate it and heres my experience for anyone that's considering buying it... 1, it's so painful to spray it on your hand because of the pressured air. 2, it is sooooo dry, it feels awful and clings to every dry area and all my pores. 3, it looks so cakey and it emphasizes all your flaws. 4, I was oily within a few hours. I was so shocked with all the good things you said about it, I'm wondering if I got an old batch or something lol
Just a tip for people, a lady in Sephora told me that you can spray it onto the brush then put it on your face
it's like Sephora actually watched your previous video on this product and take in your advice to make this better! it's really great. love how they improved the product and can't wait to try this. :D

I work at sephora and when we first got this in I used the method of putting it on with a brush and then spraying directly on the face and spraying directly on the face looked so much better! I know it's messy but it was worth it!

tiffany le yes which defeats the purpose of it being an airbrush foundation in my opinion. Its basically a medium to full coverage bb cream that they put in a can to make more money. But I do understand where you're coming from

Wow. It is amazing. I think I'll pick this up sometime. I like how it still looks like skin though it's a fuller coverage foundation.
Saw someone say you get 10 applications a bottle.... Nooooo. I've used this every day for a month and I still feel as though I have about half the bottle. I'd say if you're using it almost daily 6-8 weeks. Takes me 2 minutes to do my foundation. There's a SLIGHT learning curve but people are making it QUITE complicated. "Spin around 3x, face east and make a small sacrifice". Just put your hair in a headband and use a light hand....
You've sold me on trying this, Judy. Great demo! Boy! Have they improved the spray, since the last review! Sephora's older version 'mist' foundation was more like a blast from a Fireman's hose!!

My question is, how many applications this foundation will last?
Of all the beauty guru's I subscribe to, you are THE ONLY one who thinks of the flash photography! That is always my main concern when buying foundations because we live in a world of pictures and no one wants to look like a ghost! I love that you do this and when I need a new foundation I know exactly where to turn! I do have a question, I am in a wedding next month, what the best foundations for that type of photography? Do you think this one is my best bet?

Where did I say that I don't like watching her? Obviously I watch because her videos are entertaining. Do you always judge strangers? If so, I feel sorry for you. Be more open minded. If you don't like something, don't simply "NOT WATCH!" or make a hateful opinion and move on. Open up your mind and see it from a different perspective. Not everyone is a hater, and you shouldn't be either.

Hi Jeszica. I appreciate your concern. I don't always post negative comments. In fact, how was this negative? I'm sure if Judy noticed, she would have said the same. She is a very easy going person. Also, if you read my comments from years and years ago (from when Judy FIRST started), you would see that most of them are positive. A lot are constructive criticism, but seeing as this is her only source of income, she should learn to take that criticism and improve her channel and brand. Not everyone can constantly kiss Judy and Benji's ass all the time. Although in a condo vlog (yes I've been watching that long), Benji did say that he washes his butt out very well with soap and dries it with a towel (same towel Judy got a sty from), so I'm sure the butt kissing minions don't have a bad taste in their mouths ;)

Not understanding this. Its an airbrushing foundation, its meant to be sprayed on. I'm not understanding people who use it like its a cream/liquid foundation..
Most airbrushed foundations are VERY highly pigmented so a little goes a long way without having all the other stuff on your face that's mixed in with regular foundations. So it will blend into the skin better and typically last longer.
because foundation in your hair isn't a good look.
maybe 'cause you need to cover your hair up and pull out a nasty towel over your body everytime you want to spray this ? LOL
