Applying much more product than necessary. Saw a demo where it’s sprayed only onto the brush w/short bursts: better application, smoother results, no wasted product. Spray bottle provided the equivalent of 2 liquid bottles, so it’s actually cheaper in long run.
I bought the Sephora foundation brush to use with the DIOR airflash, and its great! I wasn’t about to pay $50 US for the DIOR brush. I tried spraying it on my face, and I didn’t like it. For me, the brush is much better, and the Sephora brush I bought is really a great foundation brush!
I keep buying the Airflash, not because I like the spray application process but because I’ve never found a foundation that so perfectly matches my skin. I don’t spray it in a Z-pattern over my face the way the directions recommend (that’s a really scary look before buffing out). I spray it onto a glass plate and pick it up with a brush. I do spray it directly on an age spot I have and with light blending, I find it works very nearly as well as concealer. An advantage of the aerosol is that since I don’t use it everyday, it lasts a long time and never goes bad in the can. Amortized over the life of the product, the cost is not that high.
Why do ppl wanna go in darker than their skin tone?! She said she looks like a ghost after applying Dior, but it's her natural complexion. You can see the Dior shade Is a perfect match to her neck. If darker is what you like because of preference that's perfectly okay, but don't act like it's the foundation that's making you look ghostly when your natural skin tone resembles the same shade.
Man! I loved the dior but I will definitely try the sephora! Just use a radiant primer with it! Oh I heard great things on the Nars luminous foundation...(I dont know the actual name but that's how I describe it lol) I loved the video!
Honey, you're sposda spray the brush, not DIRECTLY onto your face, then smooth away any brush streaks(if any) with your beauty sponge... I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a know it all, that's just what the rep taught us... PS, new subscriber🙋🏻♀️

Sephora and Dior actually suggest spraying directly on the face for more coverage or on a brush for lighter coverage. I personally prefer directly on my face. The foundation is so light that I feel I'm losing a lot of product when I spray on a brush.

The Dior looks better on your face than the Sephora one, that’s my opinion! The Sephora was pretty but more yellow, than the Dior! But overall they both look pretty! Besides your gorgeous!

Flor Jones yes it is!! I am 50, and I have been using the Dior for a couple of weeks now. I wasn’t sure about it at first because it felt so light on my skin, and that made me feel like I might not have good coverage. After wearing it a few times, I love it because it has really good coverage but doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t settle into lines and wrinkles! I have also noticed that I don’t need as much setting powder with the Dior as I was using with the Too Faced Born this Way foundation I was using. Less powder is always good for mature skin! You will love it!
Flor Jones one more thing. If you get the Dior foundation, my suggestion is to get the Sephora Makeup Match Full Coverage foundation brush and spray it on the brush instead of your face. Dior makes a brush that’s $50 US and it can’t be that much better than the Sephora one!

I don’t think you are supposed to spray right in your face. I would spray my brush and then use a sponge
The dior you spray 8 inches away from face not sponge and only advised to use a brush similar to the one they sell with the foundation

Thanks a lot, I like the Sephora better, because it is matt, while the Dior is shiny and that is not natural for skin. Skin is matte and not shiny.
Healthy skin should look luminous not matte.

The Sephora side seemed to tighten your face a bit. Your mouth was lifted some on that side. I see that as a good thing. It’s Sephora for me.
