    Fishing My FAVOURITE RIVER!
For this latest episode we’re back on the freshwater theme as we head out to our favourite river, the river Yare!
Armed with a couple of feeder rods and a bucket of groundbait we arrived just before dusk with the aim of fishing a few hours into darkness for some of the large Bream which inhabit this big river.
To find out a exactly how we got on and to see if we managed to catch a few big slabs, then watch the latest episode from the waters edge…
As usual we hope you enjoy it and any feedback is always much appreciated.

Hello Chris and Steve, As always enjoyed your video, particularly as it shows me another method of fishing on a venue I wouldn't normally fish in an area I've never been to, thanks once again for taking the time and effort to produce these.

I do overnighters at bramerton from October (due to BA banning anglers there tili Oct as you know) I use dynamite ground bait with hemp, white crumb and 2 pints of rough liquidised corn in a 1oz large cage. I cuck out a few cricket ball sized balls over a wide area to draw them in with double or triple corn on a hair. In Oct over 20 banked only 2 or 3 on the coldest January night but never blanked. From 3lb tto 6lb. Top tip take a pack of johnsons baby wipes to clean your hands and gear when banking bream.

Have a week planned in mid August on the Shannon here in Ireland & these are EXACTLY the tactics we'll be using... 😎👍
I prefer a block end feeder rather than a cage in water deeper than 8 feet so as not to draw the fish up as the cage empties as it sinks... but thats just me.. 🙄😂
Night fishing is awesome ... but I switched to the delks long ago as when I'm tired and its pitch dark, the starlight looks like its moving even when its not !! 🤔😨
Using 2 rods beside each other gives some reference tho... I usually set up the rod pod and 2 rods and rest me eyes in between bites 😴
I find a head torch with a red LED reduces the attraction of flies & also keeps your night-vision intact.. 🤗
    Enjoyed the vid ..
    😎👍☘️🍺

Great video - does anyone know which area is good for roach fishing at the moment? And where to park! Thanks :)

Thanks Colin! We fished the opposite stretch to the Beauchamp arms pub here, I think it's Buckenham stretch? I'll ask Steve if he knows where they've been catching a few for you.

    • @colind3052
      @colind3052 3 года назад

From The Waters Edge TV thanks that would be great. Have narrowed it down to the Beauchamp Arms stretch (pegs in the 60s I think) and the easy access area at Bramerton for the pole and feeder for the roach. Just hope the water has a bit of colour in by Friday!

As an American viewer it's great to see different species targeted ,maybe tench next time?

Agreed. Where I live all the Landowners have cashed-in on Carp Mania and catching anything other than Carp is now very difficult! Let's hope the From The Waters Edge guys have more choice available to them.

Hi Bill, glad you enjoyed the video! :-) We'll definitely be having a go for some Tench, however that's likely to be next spring now.

Those Horizon 6000's have a quick drag? Fancy selling my CI4+ Ultegras and get cheaper reels to free up some cash.
