    Thank you Danny the Digger! Not exactly sure if I’ll ever visit Jerusalem, but I discovered your channel recently and I’ve gained so much knowledge just by watching. Your so knowledgeable and surprising me with historical information that I can see thanks to RUclips! I hope you’ll keep posting even now that traveling has opened, at least for the meantime!💗🙌👍

    Thanks so much for this vlog. When I was there in 2018 we talked with the French priest there and he explained the church to us and told us that the statue of Anna and Mary represented Anna teaching Mary from the Torah. We also sang songs and the acoustics are incredible. But I do not remember us going into the bottom of the church so I definitely learned something new this morning.

    Thank you Danny for another great tour, I'm always confused on how all the religious sites are divided up by different nations. It must be very confusing in Israel at times with French German Greek Catholics and Christians Jews and Muslims.

    Thank you Danny! The primary context for the Church of St. Anne has been lost, namely Muslim rule. The primary purpose of such a place was to underline that Mary was NOT the sister of Aaron and Moses and daughter of Amram as she is in the Qur@n.

    I think its water not a table. They have some so called lost books of the Bible that supposed to have things that happened to many of the Lord and Deciples and parents.

    Hey Danny- have you heard the tradition that say the Apostle John took Mary with him to Ephesus to live after the persecution of the Jerusalem church?

    • @ronhagelstein5701
      @ronhagelstein5701 2 года назад +1

      Agreed, Mr. Bob.... I don't believe that John would have taken Mary to his fathers home in Jerusalem. We will probably never know

    • @danny.the.digger
      @danny.the.digger  2 года назад +1

      Of course, but that too is just a tradition

    • @bestKaffir.underTheSon

      @@ronhagelstein5701 John's parents were Zebedee and Solome. Solome [daughter of Cleophas the brother of Joseph] was the niece of Joseph and Mary [mother of Jesus].
      John's grandmother, Mary, the wife of Cleophas was at the cross of Jesus [Jn19v25].
      John's mother, Solome was also at the cross of Jesus [Mt27v56].
      John was a 2nd cousin of Jesus and probably about 10 years younger. Mary was his great aunt.
      This would explain why John was the favourite disciple as he was from the family of Jesus.

    Good Day Danny, about a year ago I saw a video that claimed that Mary was born in Turkey. I can see if you get the sites location off by a few feet or even a mile but to get a completely different country.? ! Your opinion please. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day. Pray for Ukraine. 🙏4✌

      The New Testament does not provide any evidence about Mary’s end so it’s anyones guess..

      @stellamarina4123 2 года назад

      There is a traditional story that has her living at Ephasus in Turkey in her later life.....along with St John who looked after her.

      @@stellamarina4123 Good Day Stella, It seems odd to me that Mary would leave Israel. I think She was still important to spreading the word of Jesus Christ. Hopefully I'll get to ask Her someday. God Bless. 🙏4✌🌷🌷🌷

    Is there any connection of Muslim call to prayer to the early days of Judaism? For example calling out loud from the top of the temple to the people to pray or maybe for a certain holiday is beginning? If so does anyone still do this today?

    It is what it is, just a Catholic tradition. There is no truth in it.
    Joakim was not the father of [Mary]. The father of Miryam [Mary] was Josef ben Jacov [Mt1v16 - Peshitta]. Anne [Hanna] was most likely not the mother of Mary.

    Someone told Him, “Look, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to You.” 48But Jesus replied, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” 49Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers.… (I've always found it ODD that so much attention is placed on Mary - thanks (in part) to your videos I'm seeing much clearer. Traditions of men rather than the Word of God will get you into trouble.)

    • @michaelroberts5287

      I respect Mary, because she was chosen of God and blessed among women, but I don't worship her. Jesus didn't call her mother. He called her woman, and the traditions of men will make void the word of God.

      Educate yourself more: Jesus' mother is called "full of grace"(Luke 1:28) and "the mother of John"(John 19:27) and in Luke again she is called "the mother of Lord"(1:43) though it was later translated as the "mother of God" though "Lord" does not mean "God" plus the perfect philosophical God does not need a mother or children but ...to understand the word of God one needs a little education how to do it

      You failed to realize she never left HIS side more importantly , You being a woman maybe even a mother yourself should realize , she carried in her womb the CREATOR our Lord our God Jesus Christ , let that Sink In for Eternity , HIS blood & HIS Holy Spirit Flowed through her entire body , she is unique , she is the Mother of God , as most of you Christians will say by the Blood of Jesus I'm saved , you are washed clean by the blood of Jesus & set apart by the Holy Spirit by Believing Jesus Christ is Lord Amen Amen.
