I wouldn't say sub standard, just standard. At least, specifically the Stars get the rougher end of the treatment. I think it's mostly that indies and corps with more freedom can go out and find riggers that really go above and beyond with extra flowy bits and unique and creative options.

I’d imagine the companies are so far behind model-wise is because they’ve decided they don’t need overly impressive models.
