Soaps are interesting. Accountability is selective most of the time. With only a few exceptions, Sonny really hasn’t had much accountability. It will be interesting to see his accountability and possible redemption again afterwards. BTW - I prefer the salt & pepper in Sonny’s hair to the solid black.
Also the thing I don’t get is that the incident that changed everyone’s minds about Sonny is beating up and changing his mind about a kill order on Cyrus Renault? It’s bad but I’m sorry lacks a lot of imagination on part of the writers. Laura and Anna wouldn’t trade years of close ties with Sonny over that alone, it’s character assassination and it’s bad writing. I feel like the strike writers were smarter, this feels like Days where they would change character to fit a manipulated plot as opposed to the GH I remember that used character development to create compelling plot (eg Sonny and Mike battling Alzheimer’s). This is just dumb. Get better writers.

Sonny has always been the same character except a couple of years ago when he was Mike but it is like all of the sudden all the other characters realized that Sonny is a violent criminal and it's so strange. Sonny is acting out of character because of his medication but most of the characters are acting out of character. Anna, Laura, Sam just to name a few

Yes, Sonny is a criminal, but with the exception of this Pikeman deal, when was the last time Sonny committed any real crimes? It was when he damn near killed Julian Jerome for blowing up the bar and almost killing Lulu. That was 4 years ago. For the most part, Sonny gets by on fear and recognition. So him beating Cyrus, was just a reminder of who Sonny is.
The only thing Laura is doing now tha upset vme is she's getting upset now. She knew Sonny did it when it happened, don't get mad now.
