New listener here. I really enjoyed how in depth I feel this recording goes without the length of an hour long lecture. Very insightful and definitely hit home. Also, as a gay man I really appreciate the moment when the speaker makes room for the possibility of a gay lover experience (just as the referenced Spartans would have!). Often times it can be easy to feel out of sorts at men's work meetings and video chats simply due to that kind of language barrier in addressing diversity in love relationships / partnerships, and it truly makes the biggest difference in helping to facilitate a sense of inclusion, belonging, and "wholeness" in wisdom delivered. Just had to voice the importance of that responsibility and how delightful and refreshing it is to witness a communicator's ownership of it. Thank you! Subscribed!

Thanks for the video! As a male Lover Archetype, when engaged and fully present the images and physical sensations are surreal, in harmony, high vitality and vigor, and aliveness. Even typing on a keyboard can be ultra-rich in experience. The key for me over the years is appreciating the ordinary and being fully present (not seeking the next 'hit' of experience), and most importantly, self love/self respect. Warrior traits balance the Lover.

I'm 35 and I enjoyed this content. The movie fight club hit a lot of surreal points that affect men

Fantastic, thanks Connor. I'm currently working through the archetypes and I'm on the lover right now. It's great to have this book purely to help bring awareness to parts of my life that I didn't know how to articulate and have a reference point to reflect on

I'm 60% Freudian and 40% Jungian. This discussion addresses Jung's animus/anima integration in order to love, respect, and accept our entire selves. It's not an easy task, but doable.
I'm always interested in knowing/understanding as much as possible about the opposite sex. I do feel that most men struggle for the wholeness of self understanding more than women -- it seems to be a cultural issue in the US and probably worldwide. I will search for all the archetypes in the title. Thank you for your insight into the male psyche.

I appreciate everything I’ve heard so far. My only feedback is you don’t need to apologize for focusing on and service heterosexual men; there are plenty of communities that serve homosexuals and women without apologizing for not serving heterosexual men

You know you have the name of the book wrong. Right? It's King, Warrior, Magician, Lover...

King Warrior Magician Lover. Seems you could at least get the book title right. :( I’ve been contemplating these books for 32 years. Hearing you over and over misstate the title ruined this. Also, your assessment is lacking.
