I am a West Indian living ~10,000 km away from India replying to a comment by a South Indian commenting on a reaction video by North Indians on a South Indian who created a parody song about North Indians who in turn created a song about South Indians.
Gaand means anger In Tamil...So don't think it as Hindi Wala Gaand...The reaction u guys gave after listening to that word is priceless 🤣🤣
Yes, correct. But it is derived from the hindi word Gaand. "Gaand jalgaya yaar" -> "Soothu eriyuthu machan" -> "Soothu ayiten" -> "Gaand ayiten"

I think all the north Indian languages are slangs of hindi because someone who know hindi can understand Punjabi,Bhojpuri,Haryanvi, 60,70% gujarati and bengali also,but its not easy to understand a tamil guy to understand telugu or malayalam easily

Uttar Pradesh (Uttar=North) , Rajasthan are also considered to be North India because they are obviously in the Northern part of India . Haryanvi is considered to be a variant of Hindi .Hindi is spoken in Himachal and Uttarakhand as well .Hindi speaking Bihar is also considered to be North India politically . Hence , it actually makes Hindi to be the most used language in North India .
Having said that , you are right that to the South Indians everything up in the map is like North India . They even call us Bengalis as North Indians to which we don't agree at all . 🤣

Paaji, I don’t agree with your point at the end of the video. North Indians states are eight. Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh. I know Punjabi’s lives all over North India. That doesn’t mean Punjabi language is widely spoken in NI. As per the statistics except J&K and Punjab, all other states have Hindi as a mother tongue. When we say North India, we are pointing out mainly the people of Delhi bcoz they were educated with different education system in India. I’m not joking, I’m serious. Also, we know how to call Punjab people like Sardar or Punjabi’s and Kashmiri for J&K. Further, I would like to tell you that South India means not only Tamil Nadu.
