So far I got the Midland WR120 (named Dean, bought at Walgreens), Midland Wr100 which I just bought on Amazon (named it Alex), RadioShack 12-260 (I don't remember where I got it and named it Adrian) and the AcuRite 8553W (bought at Walmart, named Micah). I got a couple more on the way that I bought on Amazon plus the lightning detector in which I'm gonna name it Raiden. I think it's a cool habit and collection!

(Which means I have no excuse not to clear out the backlog I've developed again...)
12:18-12:36 my radio shack 12-262 is doing the same thing as yours but doesn't say a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, it says RWT for 6 hours instead of 15 min or doesn't go off at all.
the HH54VP2 is a good one to use of you're traveling or just chilling at home. I've been able to pick up frequencies as far north as WXL42 in Winston-Salem, NC and WXL56 in Asheville, NC, as far west as WXJ31 in Thomaston and WXM32 in Columbus, Georgia. And as far south as WXJ28 in Jesup, Georgia and WXK75 in Waycross, Georgia. Occasionally, I'll pick up frequencies from KEC84 in New Bern, NC. Now I live in Southern South Carolina so these transmitters are over 100 miles away from where I live.
