AGGGTM is definitely worth the hype, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Read it in 1 day and couldn’t put it down, it’s so engrossing and you’ll keep turning the pages because of how much you want to know the truth about what happened. Pip is a good main character too

The struggle of the hardbacks/paperback releases of the Veronica Speedwell books is REAL. I listen to the audiobooks and when the paperbacks come out, I buy them and read them again to annotate
Katie in her thriller era! I don't really reach for thrillers, but the one that definitely left an impression is Confessions by Kanae Minato, which is psychological thriller I guess, simple set up for a plot but goes really in depth with characters
Agggtm in audio with full cast performances is one of the best audiobook experiences I've had so far. You should definitely try it out. The romance is also sooo good the way she protected him first was unique!!

The final 3rd book in AGGGTM trilogy is by far the best. 6/5 that book is amazing at building tension and not making us wait until the very end to get it. In my opinion the second one was the slowest BUT I finished it in one day so....that just goes to show how much I enjoyed this thriller series. (you may call the first 2 mystery, but As Good As Dead is honestly a thriller through and through)

At the moment I think I am going to give Tress of the Emerald Sea a 5 star, it is such an easy read and enjoyable so far. Books to list as predications on my tbr list would be Clockwork Angel, Veronica Speedwell A Curious Beginning, A Court of Mist and Fury, Tress of the Emerald Sea, Eva Evergreen and the Cursed Witch, Conceal, Don't Feel because I love a good Disney twist idea, Alliana Girl of Dragons, and The Rise of the Kyoshi.

I read home before dark last fall and was honestly disappointed. The haunting of hill house was a very good horror novel and home before dark really shouldn't be compared to it because it's not as good and it's a thriller, not horror, so it's like comparing apples and oranges, ya know? I gave it 3 stars but hopefully you enjoy it more than I did.

The Bridge Kingdom is a really good book, BUT The Traitor Queen is literally the besssst! so much action and angst and powerfull women!
