When trimmers have on the box "may be zero-gap"that means that it can be zero gapped if you choose to zero Gap them ,not that they come zero gapped . Because Andis and other companies make trimmers that cannot be zero Gap
Guess my interpretation was wrong. Hope you can see why I would thought that. Btw, one of my buddies trimmers came zero gapped before.
MMA BARBER LIFE that's a rare thing, I'm just like you every time I get a new trimmer I hope that it comes from the Factory zero Gap. The only trimmers that I had that happened with was my Andis superliners

There's a supply store where I live that has zero gasped machines since they take the time to do it and they up the price on the machine 20 dollars.

Hot damn.... your school gave you guys a Feather razor holder, that’s 💣 💣💣..... when I was in school, they gave us the Monsieur Charles... nice straight razor, but not a Feather... you got hooked up... I bought a Feather Straight Razor on Amazon and I think I paid like $150-$160
Love the feather razor and the blades are extremely sharp!

I love the Feather blades, but I only use them on myself because I can get 4-5 really good shaves off 1 blade, so it’s hard for me to use them at the shop being that I have to change the blade for each person, and at that price, I save them for myself lol

Exactly.... wish I could, but I’m not a shop owner, my prices are the shop’s prices... I wish you were my shop owner, much more practical lol... I ask my boss all the time if I could use premium products and in turn put a premium on the services in which I utilize the premium products, like feather razor blades or Art of Shaving products for the hot towel shaves, but it falls on deaf ears....my clients however that appreciate premium products tip accordingly, but some tip the same whether I use Feather and AOS or derby and Williams

yeaaaa buddy! it's alot of fun. I love it at the school, and most importantly, i love cutting. No matter if it's for money, or not.
I'm interested in getting Instructors L's hard to find a school that offers program in ATL.
