The first one was so chilled like "let me sleep mommy i dont wanna move" the second one somehow was cute with its threat posture. reminds me a bit about my ex when i had to wake her in the morning xD Hope i will find a female Grammostola Pulchar soon.
The worst tempered and most stubborn tarantulas I've ever rehoused are my curly hairs (Tlitocatl albopilosus) 😂 Bellatrix and Narcissa both bit the paint brush and refused to leave their old enclosures
I just ordered the sweet dreams tarantula crib …. My grandson is getting a Phidippus Regius for his 4th birthday! He will be so excited to have his first jumping spider in “the spider lady’s cage” he’s also getting a stuffie from you for his birthday.
I love your channel so much! I have been keeping jumpers for 4 years but am new to Ts. I now have an A. Avicularia, T. vagans, C. elegans, and L. Sazimai!
It's funny and terrifying to watch when you're holding and tapping the container while you're talking and the resident's house is swaying and there's a massive earthquake hitting 😂
I related so much when you said that it always ends up as the apparently chill critters that i end up being very cautious around 😂 My Hetrometrus loaticus is incredibly chill, my Pandinus imperators however have no chill 😅 thankyou so kuch for sharing your videos they are amazing 💜
I found out if I rehouse in my bathtub my Ts can't /won't climb the walls of the tub lol so wen I rehouse my OBT I do it in the tub , it's like a giant catch cup(yes I make sure the drain is closed and blocked) lol
the creeping ficus should be a sturdy and slow growing plant it's not going to take over the enclosure , the other plants should get taller and stretched out over time, it depends on the lighting.
Do you buy "leaf litter"? Or do you just use leaves you find from outside? It looked like your leaves were is a bag from a store. Your enclosures are skyway so pretty
Hi Kat! Love your videos, they are awesome as always. My regal jumping spider layed an egg sac and it was not fertile I did not breed her(she was not wild caught either) so I just took it out after about a month and a half and she has been having trouble climbing so I’m starting to get worried. Do you have any ideas on what I can do?
My female Ornithoctonus aureotibialis is probably my meanest spood, either her or one of my other Ornithoctoninae sub family spiders. I use reptisoil too but I've moved away from it a bit and use primarily terra aranea from Bio Dude
My rufesence decided to haul azz up my arm. Ssme size as yours. Quite the Heart attack!! 😂 but I got her under control, I thought, and we both had to take a deep breath after that little adventure.
Tarantula Kat I’d like to ask a question about my tarantula because I’m worried about it. It has not been eating for three weeks, and it’s always climbing up. Do you know why?
Hello Kat Really nice Rehousing it went better than you thought. The Babies have much more play room now they will be much Happier in their new homes. Have A Happy Safe 4th of July Holiday 🎊🇺🇸♥️🤍💙🇺🇸🎉🖤🕷️
Anyone know if she has a gooty (Poecilotheria metallica) by chance? I keep trying to find one but either i am not using the right keywords or there isn't one.
Your plant problem is you keep picking peperomias which want to dry out. They’re kind of succulent adjacent they also hate their roots being messed with. So probably the least ideal choice for burrowing spoods.
Thats sad ... If she outgrew it 2 molts ago. Do you maybe have too many at this point ? Is that why she was left in such a small enclosure for that long ..?
lol it's not like she was neglected, clearly she's been fed and watered and taken care of. sometimes they just put on some size and you suddenly notice one day, that it's time for an upgrade!!
@@tarantulakat I dont know how long it takes for them to molt or anything but seemed like she couldnt even move around in there 🤷🏼♀️. How often do you need to look at each spider you have ? Its unclear how many there are because there are always videos of you getting more and more. I never said you didnt feed it, but if she spent a month or 2, too big for that enclosure thats sad to me
Why u didnt put smaller enclosure to bigger and after this poke with brush? Why moving over edge with this big abdomen? You risking a drop? Why... just... why...
The little baby being like "NO I'M SCARY AND BIG" >:[ absolutely cracked me up, thank you as always for sharing these delightful friends with us.
"I'm also crabby when I'm in pre-molt as well" 😂😂😂💀 Kat you are too funny
What is that even referring to?
I shall be referring to my fiancé's time of the month as pre-molt from now on!

Great rehousing Kat and what a diva give her an Oscar ..

Watch out we got an owl over here, too big to be a spider!

Hi tarantula kat
All bark and no bite.
I think us girls always get a little crabby in premolt Lolol
This might sound like a silly question but aren't you afraid of the slingtails getting out and breeding all over your home?
never had that problem, to be honest they likely wouldn't survive outside the enclosure because they need the dirt/moisture and water.
