If you can afford a couple of thousand pound and at least two months then head to Wudang Shan in Hubei province, take train from Beijing. Tell them Shak said hi
True 🥰💗💓💕🌹🥀
it is so true, I did it wrong yesterday and my knew hurt the day after, so thank you dear teacher for warning us before we start, and thank you immensely for sharing your precious culture to us, I always admire your ways and your insights, again, thank you heartily xoxoo
I appreciate you showing the difference between an open kua and a closed one and how/why it occurs. that is a huge point that will allow progress that isn't possible without knowing this way of doing it properly. xie xie
É um enorme prazer receber um vídeo deste estimado Mestre.
Foi para mim uma bênção.
GRATIDÃO
Great great teacher
YOU sifu ARE A GREAT teacher 🙏🙏🙏😇
Nicely demonstrated, especially in the first 5 minutes or so--a good visual presentation of shifting and turning in a way that preserves the health of the knee joints.
Oh so good see this to learn about wudang tai chi
You have more taiji classes here: wudang.academy/tai-ji/
Props to everyone involved in production/filming. More please!!
The filming and production is just a one man show - I am doing it personally with a manual focus lens SLR Magic 35mm F1.2

@@stelios43 awesome

Grazie ancora, 🙏
Interesting comment about hips, keeping them at 45 degrees. Some teachers teach that hips/pelvis should face forward and gua should be closed to guard groin.
This is a video about the basics.
@@kasumifu1541 I thought it was just a difference in style, rather than basic versus advanced. You mean at the higher levels the hips are squared off?
There can be very noticeable differences in stances, steps etc. when for example; fighting applications are being explained, because of the myriad of variables. The 45 degree guideline, as well as these other ones, are there of course for good reasons. A house is just as strong as its foundation is.
Thank you so much for sharing this! My question is, what postures are you learning and are they from 28 Wudang Posture style/type?
Tai Chi 28 yes! The other postures are just Jibengong - basic practice.
Dear Wudang, would you come to Ireland. I love your honesty in teaching, deep knowledge. You are Original, I would love to learn from you🙏
I would really like to - I am doing 2020 a tour through Austria - maybe after this
@@michaelweichhardt and please....come to Berlin!!!!
excellent video and teaching. One issue - wondering as a total beginner what order to follow in the videos. I don't see any clear indication.
Start with wuxing qigong
Gold
Sifu, what type of hip flexibility would you recommend to do? I am a former professional athlete and my hips are stiff and I notice when I do my Qi gong/Tai chi I can notice it makes mine practice harder. Thank you!
Deep knee bends in a cucumber patch! maboo
@@wfloes5420 Could you further on explain that please, cause I have hard time to imagine what you trying to say 🤔
No, no... "Ancient Chinese Secret "- Calgon!"

you want an external crutch to learn kung fu. this isn't the way so instead of thinking about how to have more convenience to suit you. do a detailed quality practice and use a journal to help you.
@ those videos in most cases aren't made to be a substitute for a teacher. so, with that said don't expect them to be presented so it meets your criteria as your criteria was never the focus of the producers of said videos.
why did u stop chen style ? why do u learn yang style now? You have got to realize videos are made to present style X,Y,Z and not meant as instructional videos usually. the ones that are of an instructional nature assume the watcher has a certain level of skill already. just like certain books do as well.
Yet, people think they will get in depth teaching from books/manuals as well as films which is a silly impractical way to think. these people try to make a living and feed their families via martial arts books/manuals/films they are not meant to teach the ORAL instructions that are spoken directly to students or disciples. you can't expect to give away their skill = kung fu for the amount you pay for books or dvd's etc.
Movie like dancing
at slowling
Very poor camera work. You need to show the feet at all times because it is important. All you need to do is back up the camera. It seems so strange to chop off the feet.
Adds very 2 minutes is horrible
