DUMBO, short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The area was originally a ferry landing, characterized by 19th- and early 20th-century industrial and warehouse buildings, Belgian block streets, and its location on the East River by the imposing anchorage of the Manhattan Bridge. The entirety of Dumbo was bought by developer David Walentas and his company Two Trees Management in the late 20th century, and remade into an upscale residential and commercial community-first becoming a haven for art galleries, and currently a center for technology startups.

Curious, why do you always use young women in your thumbnails? As a woman that lives in nyc it’s unsettling to think that I could be walking about the city minding my own business and end up as some random guys thumbnail in the hopes that’s he garners more views. It’s very obvious you do this intentionally because 90% of your thumbnails are unsuspecting women. It’s very very creepy.
I have a question in return … Would you think the same thing if I were a woman ?
By the way I never cheat with my thumbnail. It’s always a frame of my video.
@@JulienInNYC if it were a consistent pattern, yes I would. As I said, as a woman walking around ny on a daily basis I see a lot of people doing this or live streaming. I would not be ok with being the focal point of someone’s thumbnail. Now when I see someone recording like this I just cross the street out of fear of this happening to me. I also don’t think it’s necessary to use women in this way. Action kid for example does not do this and his channel is still very successful. Just put yourself in our shoes is all I’m saying.

@@JulienInNYCI’m not here to argue with you. A lot of the thumbnails are women wearing shorts and a simple tank top or short sleeve shirt. That’s fashion? I just ask that you put yourself in the perspective of women. I also didn’t say it was harassment but I would be upset if I ever saw myself in a thumbnail. For me it feels invasive. As a woman, men often record us anyway without our permission but to have it on RUclips like this…would be upsetting. Also other channels that walk about nyc don’t do this and that’s one thing I appreciate about them. Anyway continue as you have been, I have no say in the matter it’s your channel. Just think about how women may feel is all I ask. Anyway have a good day.
