    This is really interesting. I come from a beading background and would have thought that last row would have been done very differently. Have you ever just strung the beads onto the yarn and moved them into place as you need them instead of all the single crochet’s to put them into place?

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  Год назад

      You can do that on some designs, but with this one, pre-stringing beads won't create quite the same effect. Also, we generally advise against pre-stringing beads on our yarns, as the constant friction of moving the beads along the strand can damage the yarn.

    I have started this project and am finding that the curve of the top edge is getting stronger as I go along. I've pulled out 5 rows to start again. You can see this curve starting at the 10:18 mark. This seems to me to be making the bottom quite wavy. Has anyone else started this shawl and is having the same problem? Thinking of doing two rows of #5 increase then one row #4 increase. This may make the shawl deeper and not as long but less curve. Thoughts? Comments?

    • @ExpressionFiberArts

      Hi Teresa, thank you for your comment.
      Once you block your shawl the curve will be less prominent but if you don't like it this way your suggestion can work as well. You should do what you like the best. Enjoy making Florescence.
