    THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!! I am almost 2 years into my 2023 Forester and I have learned more from your video than I did from my dealer. Or on my own. So many buttons and whistles, and the owners manual is the most pathetic one I’ve ever seen. Impossible to find what one is looking for and who has time to read 500+ pages?
    Saving this video to refer back to.
    Again, thank you for such a practical tutorial.

    Best tutorial yet. You showed the control buttons clearly. Most have fat fingers in the way. Need more info about the avail programs on information screen. Very good. PJJ

    Just purchased a '23 Forester Limited last month, and can't stand even looking at the 2.5" black manual holder in the glove box!! I'm a visual learner I guess! Just wanted to say thanks for this intro video!! I have scheduled my little class thing at my dealer for next month - so at least I will be a little familiar before I get there! I have been saying that Subaru needs to put out this type of video - so I am really grateful. I'm going to check out your other videos to see if you have some more detailed ones (ie radio/phone)...since I am not a technologically minded person. I had my last car 16 yrs, so I have a lot to learn! 👍

    Thanks for this video it’s very helpful I have a 2023 Forrester limited coming in soon. Just wondering if you have a video on setting navigation, and finding and setting for Sirius radio. Also a video on how to update the navigation.

    I recently purchased a '23 Forester Limited in FL, and moving to MN the end of July. If anyone has any input they can share on a front license plate bracket they prefer - I'd love to hear it. FL only requires back plates - so I'm going to take care of this before I leave. Thanks!! 👍

    Was wondering how to reset clock for daylight savings time?

    • @Robert_Cox
      @Robert_Cox  6 месяцев назад +1

      That will be in the main screen settings. It should do it automatically if you have it set to auto!

    Buy this year before it gets the stupid maxi-screen like the Outbacks. Real buttons are the right approach.

    Hi. So on the screen where you see the different stations I see a button ish reading traffic and weather!! How do you set the traffic for your area??

    • @Robert_Cox
      @Robert_Cox  5 месяцев назад

      You have to go through the main touchscreen. I believe you click apps and then weather. Then choose your location

    Great video, question, is there an option to program the driver seat position so we will not change it every time manually (i need more room for my legs than my wife)?

    What do the little squares mean on the left side of the screen that shows the gas gauge?

    • @Robert_Cox
      @Robert_Cox  10 месяцев назад

      If you are talking about the blue squares that is your gas level

    Is there a way to raise the seat height on the front passenger seat? The manual looks like there is, but I don't see the lever that is referred to in the book

    • @Robert_Cox

      Only on the Touring trim level I believe

    Great video! Thanks. Just wonder about the interior rear view mirror. Is it adjusted manually?
    I noticed that the indicator stalk doesn't return. Can that be fixed?

    • @Robert_Cox
      @Robert_Cox  10 месяцев назад

      Yes the rear view mirror is manually adjusted, the side mirrors are power adjusted. On the Forester the stalk returns to the center position once you complete the turn

    Is it normal for the car to have a rough start up? Whenever my engine turns on or off my car shakes (as if you were going over a speed bump is the best way I can describe). Been that way since I got it but it startled everyone who gets in my car…

    • @Robert_Cox
      @Robert_Cox  7 месяцев назад

      It's normal to shake a bit but you can always have your dealer take a look at it

    I wish the left-side dash buttons (Rear Door opening, etc.) would face UP towards the driver's eyes instead of being built downward. My feet don't see so well and button that aim for my feet are POORLY designed. Want the driver to see them easily? AIM THEM UP. Why hide buttons? Do you want the drivers to see them or not?
