- As of last week, 563 professional firms hold $3.5 Billion worth of Bitcoin ETFs, signalling the more you do your homework the more you move towards the worlds best asset.
Also, Bitcoin is being defended from the halls of power at both the Federal and State level, as landmark legislation was passed that defends peoples right to own and custody Bitcoin.
So why are states, institutions, and the US Senate, all defending Bitcoin? Could it be because they all recognize the recession is here? Perhaps it just looks different than ones we’ve seen in the past?

@@dk4366 To use means to buy and receive BTC for good and services. I have never seen BTC as a payment option anywhere. I tried to use the lightning network but the gas fees were crazy high. My point is people can buy BTC as an investment but the vast majority cant use BTC.

When you save your labor in Bitcoin or convert your savings to Bitcoin, EVERYTHING gets cheaper as time goes on. When saving in fiat currency EVERTHING gets more expensive as time goes on. It's a no-brainer at this point.

To think that ANYONE would suggest that self custody of Bitcoin should be criminalized is a criminal. By that logic no one should be able to have a home safe or a wallet full of fiat! What is the difference?

Like many people, more-and-more every day I realize Gary Gensler needs to *GO.* I'm not sure exactly how much damage he can do in his job at the SEC, but I'm sure we're going to find out if he's not shown the door. It's very strange that Gensler was so chummy with SBF, but Brian Armstrong/Coinbase (and others) can't even get an appointment with him. Gensler obviously doesn't care about "Protecting Consumers." If he did he'd be marching in front of the Federal Reserve Building carrying a sign that says, *"End the Fed."*

Just illustrate how far the window is shifted. You just stated that the US dollar is stable. A currency that is undergone a 20% deep valuation in the last three years is hardly stable. It’s just not as unstable as everything else.

Q: Where might investors see better gains, holding one BTC at $65,000 or 148 BCH at $440 ?
They share the same Genesis block, the same 21M max supply, the same miners and the same halvings.
BCH is up about 300% in one year which is around twice as much as BTC and the chart looks like BTC in 2016

It is not how many people who own bitcoin that determines the limit. It is protocol based and as of today the 46 million millionaires in the world CANNOT hold 1 BTC since once the last bitcoin is rewarded in 2140 there will only be 21 Million in existence.

@@formetoknow540 easy speculation but Kieser probably owns more than 1%.. think about how much he has given away and how many btc companies he has formed(Dante knows he owns Swan) another example he gave 6,000 to Alex Jones like no big deal, Alex lost them and more recently Kieser offered 6,000 more to Alex if he could answer 4 very simple questions about btc. Easy questions like how many total btc is there, who started btc, how often difficulty adjusted.. to do the things he's doing you really need more like a 1 million btc , so he probably owns more like 5% not 1%, but I prefer conservative estimates

Mainstream retail , is waiting for institutions and corporations to adopt Bitcoin. When they do , Retail will start accumulating.
They need to see what the big guys are doing in order to follow them. They are wired for that type of behavior.
I see adoption this way:
1 programers very early , gamblers very early ,few visionaries and criminals went in first.
Most left too soon.
2nd came, curious young people, some few adrenaline risk taking investors, and 1 in 50 dads that understand how money works.
3 will be corporations and institutions.
4th will be retail mainstream investors.
Last will be the regular guys, if they even came in.
So Bitcoin will be heavily accumulated by the elites .
As most of other valuable assets.
