I actually have a doubt. I was searching for MSC in astrophysics for which i got to know two institutes - IIT Indore & TIFR Mumbai Now when i went to the eligibility criteria for admission in IIT Indore's astrophysics course, I saw there written as "students completing graduate courses with physics as a subject for minimum 3 semesters are eligible" whereas i had only 1 semester for physics subject in my engineering course So is there anything similar to that also applicable in TIFR's criteria to do MSc in astrophysics? Like graduated students applying for astrophysics MSC should have studied physics as a subject in minimum 2 or 3 or 4 semesters of their undergraduate course?
Don't consider the IIT indore's criteria for TIFR also. Go on the site & check. Generally, TIFR won't have such criteria. Just check once. Also, try for abroad also if possible.
@@phdinterviews6971 no no i m not considering IIT one with the TIFR, i m asking that whether anything similar with that is also there in TIFR's eligibility criteria, coz you all are there close to the system so you might know it better coz such kind of special condition is not mentioned in the general eligibility criteria which is easily available on the internet...
If all students who got into tifr make it in first attempt ,or in second attempt..for int.phd..i give it in 2021 ..and didnt go well, iam thinking about droping an year.please guide mam.please..
I will try to put a video regarding this question asap mostly within a week. But as for now, i can say don't only try to get Int phd by one means ljke through GS, you can also try with good GATE score or CSIR-NET JRF. So, you can prepare for these exams as well & can enter into TIFR.
