The Japanese language is a little limited in terms of compliments and they tend to use less words for literally everything... So the subtitles are more towards "what he meant" than "what he said".

Thanks for the info. I want to follow him. Here he is playing a chromatic harmonica, you notice how he is moving the index finger on his right hand while he plays, he's pressing a button on the harmonica which gives it half- notes. I had one of those harmonicas, Hohner makes them, they are called a "Chromatica", and they now cost around $80 USD.
