thanks for making this, this has been happening recently, but since UI/UX of apps seems to change every 6 months all the posts I found were pointing me to settings that no longer exist, this should help alot

Exactly this is only 6 months old and it doesn't match. I believe Facebook does crap like this by design which you do know Facebook is Instagram.

Sorry but my setting was already set to "Only people you follow on Instagram" and I still get added by strangers.

I did everything you said but random people still add me to groups. Instagram needs stronger bot prevention measures. Half of the message settings don't even work for me unfortunately :/. I appreciate the video tho
