0:15 fun fact about the guns in Far Cry 2. They degrade without any repairing systems in place, and will eventually explode after excessive usage. The same goes for that Golden AK. There's 4 in each of the two maps, and they'll last 24'000 rounds of ammo
they don't give off the feel like they're actual weapons, they look the real part but the sounds and how they shoot often leave the sense of a fake weapon or "It's Plastic".
Of course will they not give the feel of a real one shooting without ear protection. The only thing you feel is the vibration of your controller or the hard plastic of your mouse. While the real one gives vibration all over your body, it smells a distinct smell after shooting a round, you will feel the stock even after shooting if it is your first time or you didn't had it seated properly, maybe even having a casing falling under your sleeve and you trying to get the fucker out haha
well no, if you wanted to go into detail there's far more than even that, I was giving the baseline idea of why Arma3's weapons don't generally "Feel" like a weapon.

you are incorrect. although it has a muzzle device from the AK-100 series, it is still an AK-47 due to the 45 degree gas port and the calibre. although they look modern, that is simply because they put a picatinny rail on the standard side mounted dovetail mount. its a pretty common attachment.

About 85% was AKMs, about 10% were actual AK-47s, one AK-74, one AK-105, and the rest didn't even look like any real weapons
And there were a couple Type-56s in the mix as well.

The black ops ak47 looks like an original AK 47 but the curve in the Magazine looks more like an 5.45x39 AK74.
An "original" AK 47 never existed, because it was called AK. There was AK-74, AKM and many other models, but not AK-47.

It was named Avtomat Kalashnikova which was shortened to AK, made in 1947 therefore it was called the AK47.
