      ( To give ) but grammar pattern is different
      Thank u

    • @NihonGoal
      @NihonGoal  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, the meaning is the same AND the grammar pattern is also the same.
      Giver は Receiver に agemasu/kuremasu.
      But KUREMASU is used if the receiver is him, her, them etc (to give to someone else/third person)
      AGEMASU is used if the receiver is me(speaker) or my family (to give me/my family). As you can see, it depends on who is the receiver.

    if we say only “kasu” is also fine, isnt it???

    • @NihonGoal
      @NihonGoal  3 года назад +1

      Hello Joanna! Oo nga medyo nakakalito talaga. Ang technique ko para maalala, kapag moraimasu/to receive ang verb, ang subject is ung Receiver. So ang pattern is “Receiver wa ...moraimasu”/ “Giver wa..agemasu” / “Giver wa Speaker ni kuremasu”. Sa sentence na “watashi wa ani ni koko ni tsuretekite morimashita”, kung gusto natin gamitin ung verb na “to give” dapat ung “kuremasu/give speaker” ang gagamitin hindi pede ung agemasu. Unless baliktarin natin, “I brought my brother here” -> “watashi wa ani ni koko ni tsuretekite agemashita.”

      @@NihonGoal So if we use the “kuremasu” sentence form, its gonna be “Ani wa watashi ni (or omit watashi ni) koko ni tsuretekite kuremashita” kasi kapag kuremasu gagamitin, ung topic is ung giver po diba? Which is the brother in this case. Is this right po?
