Yes, the meaning is the same AND the grammar pattern is also the same. Giver は Receiver に agemasu/kuremasu. But KUREMASU is used if the receiver is him, her, them etc (to give to someone else/third person) AGEMASU is used if the receiver is me(speaker) or my family (to give me/my family). As you can see, it depends on who is the receiver.
Rose sensei, do i have to say “kashite agemasu” ????? if we say only “kasu” is also fine, isnt it??? Hello! Sentence 7? I can’t find sentence 7. Are you talking about the sentence about Ms.Lama? Because “kuremashita” means “I received”. But all the sentences there are “gave” that’s why I used “agemashita”

Hi, the vocabulary video for this lesson says いれます means “make/brew coffee/tea”. I think it’s a different verb from 入れます, although they sound the same. Hope that helps :)

Hello Joanna! Oo nga medyo nakakalito talaga. Ang technique ko para maalala, kapag moraimasu/to receive ang verb, ang subject is ung Receiver. So ang pattern is “Receiver wa ...moraimasu”/ “Giver wa..agemasu” / “Giver wa Speaker ni kuremasu”. Sa sentence na “watashi wa ani ni koko ni tsuretekite morimashita”, kung gusto natin gamitin ung verb na “to give” dapat ung “kuremasu/give speaker” ang gagamitin hindi pede ung agemasu. Unless baliktarin natin, “I brought my brother here” -> “watashi wa ani ni koko ni tsuretekite agemashita.”
