One of the best indoor plants, which can also flourishes outdoors in the shady gardens is Clivia. Because Clivia does not need sunlight or much indirect light, it is a great plant for indoor spaces too. I have planted some in the North-facing shady side of our home. Every Spring Clivia blooms beautiful orange flowers with yellow centers. Only a few new varieties have been made with yellow, white or similar colors. Clivia is very hardy and propagates on its own to larger ground area or containers. In this video I show you two varieties that I have and show you how you can propagate it.
