You don't have to choose just 1 band to like. I've listened to TOOL for 20 years. I've listened to Deftones for 17 years. I've listened to Chevelle for almost 10 years. All of them are awesome and I hope they keep putting out music for another 20 years because I'll be listening.

Chevelle never ceases to amaze me. This is why they are my favorite band! 1. They have an amazing sound. 2. They keep coming out with new and awesome songs / albums. 3. They sound PHENOMENAL live. (meaning they are not a studio band) 4. They put on a very good concert. 5. They are purely just awesome end of story.

Pete is just straight up gifted, the whole band makes an astonishing amount of noise for a trio of guys. They rock hard and never fail to blow my mind. Thanks to Chevelle, I don't have to waste money on therapy: just blow my eardrums out listening to this while I workout is perfection. Keep it up guys.
I think the new sound is amazing. Progression in rock music is great - and very needed - as long as the bands don't stray from their core. And, this is a prime example of Chevelle expanding on what they've done for years.
Chevelle has just taken some inspiration from Tool and just focused it more on the vocals than the instruments. They've kind of squeezed the long, harder rocking Tool songs down into shorter songs that also kick ass in their own way. There's nothing wrong with that. The guitar and bass working together after the opening riff just kick you in the face in this song. I love that sound and wish more songs did this instead of leaving the bass to be hardly heard

No matter how much time goes by, no matter what the band may be going through, they ALWAYS seem to be able to know how to kick you in the gut and uppercut you in the jaw on your way down. AMAZING SONG FROM AN AMAZING BAND!
