    Am an introvert, divorced in 2015 been staying alone for almost a decade and don't remember the last time I got sick. I buy groceries myself, prepare my meals and never eat from outside. Trust me, am the most happiest. It's not about living alone but how you live alone.

  • @BD06

    It's not specifically about living alone choosingly, it's about being alone when you don't want to, but the loophole is you can't seperate loneliness yourself.

    DEFINITION:
    Loneliness - Surrounded by people still feeling left alone in the world. Given not chosen.
    Solitude - Not surrounded by people, but feeling the whole world is within you (not seeking anything outwardly). Chosen not given.
    I pray that everyone lives in peace 😊

    • @Salador1777
      @Salador1777 11 дней назад

      That's what I would call negative self talk. Don't tell yourself such things. There's always someone out there who can enjoy your company. Sometimes we like people enough to overlook other things that might be off-putting. If you're thinking those negative thoughts you're limiting yourself and not giving people a chance to see who you are.

    "Our suffering stems from ignorance. We react because we do not know what we are doing, because we do not know the reality of ourselves. The mind spends most of the time lost in fantasies and illusions, reliving pleasant or unpleasant experiences and anticipating the future with eagerness or fear. While lost in such cravings or aversions, we are unaware of what is happening now, what we are doing now. Yet surely this moment, now, is the most important for us. We cannot live in the past; it is gone. Nor can we live in the future; it is forever beyond our grasp. We can live only in the present.
    If we are unaware of our present actions, we are condemned to repeating the mistakes of the past and can never succeed in attaining our dreams for the future. But if we can develop the ability to be aware of the present moment, we can use the past as a guide for ordering our actions in the future, so that we may attain our goal.
    Dhamma is the path of the present moment. Therefore we must develop our ability to be aware of the present moment”

    Not true for introverted people! Some people get migraine atrack after social interactions. Superficial interactions are draining. If a person is in a toxic family system in that case it'd be better to stay isolated until they relocate themselves to a safer environment, where they feel seen, heard and valued.

    She might have mentioned depression and loss of appetite. I have been alone, except for work, since stupid COVID ruined my life by my friends moving out of the city, and our favorite bar closing. Many of those friends had nothing to do during the lockdown but have sex, so they all now have babies and no time to go out drinking. COVID destroyed my social life. Now when I am not working, I sit alone in the dark, in my bedroom and surf the RUclips and stuff, looking for anything that will make me happy. It sucks.

Does he not have the power to stop that? So the all powerful thing is not real then. So he is not a god. Religion is about as good as a golf club, or a bowling league. It is actually worse in most ways, except that it does encourage civic participation in helping others. Unfortunately, it is also used by some to manipulate others into the opposite.
