Every content creator has their style. I really enjoy the patience and care in which you take in describing the neighborhoods. A pronunciation video would be greatly appreciated. Since you have a daughter similar in age to my girls, may I suggest a video of her suggested sites or activities for teens? Merci
Hello ! Parisian here. Really depends on what your girls like and their age, but off the top of my head (without ranking): 1) Musée Galliera - Fashion Muséum - if they like fashion of course, nice collections 2) Chateau de Chantilly (my fav ever around Paris) which organises equestrian shows, and has an incredible art collection - it's also a nice 'green' getaway from Paris and is easily accessible by train or car. The town is sleepy but cute as well. 3) Parc Astérix (avoid during the week end to escape the crowds and the 'bad' crowds) - our national Disneyland around Astérix and Obelix comics, extremely popular here. The whole parc is modeled around the 'lore' of Asterix and Obelix. The rollercoasters are nice. 4) Booking a cooking class - did one for the first time last week in the 2nd district, was very very fun and the chefs spoke perfect English. 5) The Catacombs always impress teens, all these bones lol :) Would suggest to book online to avoid the queue 6) Jardin des Plantes - a parc in Paris which hosts the Natural History museum, there is also a zoo (a real one with monkeys), botanical gardens and a big 'Gallery of Evolution'. All that in the middle of Paris, not far from the Seine. This place has always given me weird Harry Potter vibes as a kid, for some unknown reason. 7) Escape game - maybe silly to do that when travelling abroad but there is that one escape game company that has an escape room completely modeled to a Parisian metro car (well it's actually a métro car) that moves a bit (was quite fun to do - and it's adapted to non French speakers). 8) Musée du parfum where you can book a workshop and make your own fragrance. 9) For Shopping, wandering around in the Marais
@@marmar-90 Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions. I wll definitely include them. I think my kids would love a cooking class. Could you recommend the one you liked?
I’m loving your videos, especially the walking ones, even though I’ve been to Paris many times. I arrive in Paris on Thursday and I’ll follow some of your walks during my stay. Thank you.
This video came out just in time for me. I arrive in 14 days and Will stay at the Opéra Garnier área! Your content is superb. Well thought, planned out and filmed. And yes, a pronunciation video Will be highly appreciated. Thank you and regards from Argentina 🇦🇷🌟🌟🌟🇦🇷
A lovely stroll through the heart of Paris, very enjoyable indeed. As a native English speaker I know I will never properly pronounce French correctly, no matter how I try... So any help to improve with a pronunciation video would be most welcomed.
I think that at least knowing how it's pronounced in French can be helpful. I know the reverse is true: if I want to go to Londres when I'm in England, I might have more issues than if I want to go to London 😁
Would love a video on correct pronunciation! My high school French was long ago (60 years) so a refresher before my visit next May would be appreciated. Love your videos.
Would love to see a pronunciation video! A great idea and, like all your videos, so useful! Thank you very much for all the hard work put into creating this content.
Je vous suis avec Grand plaisir. Merci infiniment, j'apprécie beaucoup votre travail. Chapeau ! J'adore Paris, j'ai hâte de faire tous les rooftop que vous avez filmé. Mes salutation sincères de Roumanie. PS : your english is very good. But, please, don't change the name of the Tower into english, keep it in french. Everybody will understand. Thanks again !
Another beautiful and helpful video, thank you! This is the neighborhood where I will be staying....three weeks to countdown! I have saved your map and suggestions and the covered passages, lovely in any weather, will be especially welcome in the rain. Again, many thanks.
@@paristoptips exactly what I want. Can’t believe I found your channel three days before I leave Canada. I will follow the routes in your videos fir Latin Quarter, La Māoris and Louvre to Opera. Unbelievable. Thank you hugely!
Unfortunately not. It is forecast to last 27 months from October 2022. So, with the usual delays, I think it will be finished by early 2025. But, the Palais Garnier will remain open throughout the construction period. Access for shows and the shop (via the main facade) and visits (entrance at the corner of Scribe and Auber streets) are maintained in the same locations.
Hi I can’t decide between Meliá Paris Vendôme and Hôtel L'Échiquier Opéra Paris - MGallery for our first visit to Paris. I would like to hear your thoughts about them. Thank you.
First, both are excellent hotels, from two great brands. Then, you've got one, the Melia, that is in a very touristic location, a few meters from le Louvre, right next to Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent headquarters, the other one is in a part of Paris where people still live, with much less tourists around. But then with metro Bonne Nouvelle just nearby, you're everywhere in Paris in minutes. Honestly, I'd choose both, to experience two quite different Paris!😁
Yes! A video on pronunciation would be very nice. I enjoy your videos and appreciate hearing the names from a local.
I'll definitely do one soon!
I agree!

Excellent idea. We were in fact thinking of a video on Paris for children. Maybe could we have another one called Paris for teens.

Opera Garnier is my favorite. Do you think the renovation be done before June?
Unfortunately not. It is forecast to last 27 months from October 2022. So, with the usual delays, I think it will be finished by early 2025.

I’m going to Paris in a few weeks and would love to know how to pronounce all these places!
So I have to make that video fast 😁

How much distance did this walk cover and how long would it take?
Close to 5 kms and 3 hours without visiting museums or Opera.
