If you think it is mentioned in Quran so then i also have read it yes it is mentioned but it doesn't make it Arab name like many of Arabic words are adopted by us in Hindi, Punjabi, Pashto,Sindhi or in our other local languages not just by us but many of international languages even Spanish and English have adopted Arabic derived words , just like that Arabs also adopt many of Sanskrit words yes every language borrows words and give words to other languages except Urdu it has not a single word of it's origin

Hindi-Urdu was Major language in United India. They Serve as lingua franca of India except Bengal and Dravidians.
So After Partition, Urdu that was for Muslims still remains as Lingua franca and recognized as National language of Pakistan.

I don't like this person but he's absolutely right here. In fact, there is no restrictions in Islam to have Arabic name. None of the companion of prophet Muhammad changed name after converting. But don't know why Muslims of India never focused on this topic. I'm from Pakistan, I would like to name my child an Indian origin name. Perhaps, people who converted in Muslim ruler times, they wanted to be familiar to them to gain some kind of favor in daily life. Lots of ifs and buts

No, Iranians usually do not have names like "Khalid" because names like Ali, Hasan, Mahdi are popular in Iran, which are Islamic and also have Arabic origins. Do you also have a problem with Europeans and Americans having names like John, Peter, Joseph since these names are also Biblical names with their roots in the Middle East, not Europe? Why do Pakistanis use Persian script? Why not? Why do Indians use English as their state language? Isn't English the language of your invaders as well? At least Pakistan has historical and geographical ties with Persia...in fact, the land of Indus, present day Pakistan, was joined with Persia for much longer and frequent periods than it was with present day Bharat so it makes sense that we would gradually adopt the Persian script. What's your reason for adopting the English language?

In ancient times, the name "India" was used only to describe the land and people of Indus River delta which is now in present day Pakistan. When the Mughals, arriving to the land of Indus from Afghanistan, established their empire, they called it "Hindustan"("Hindustan" is the Persian pronunciation of the Arabic word "Hind" to describe the land and people of Indus) and continued to include their future eastward conquests in that name for administrative purposes. The British came and took over that empire along with its given name. THAT is how you got the name "India" in the first place even though its not your name in terms of history or geography!

You have just as much claim on Indus as I, a Pakistani, have on Ganges. I have no interest in Ganges or any history associated with it. Its your history and you can have it. My history is attached to Indus, the land upon which my direct ancestors lived and walked for thousands of years, and I refuse to let you steal it from me.

Reason for differences between Hindustani Muslims and Turkish/Persian/Indonesian Muslims is that the latter are 100% Muslim whereas the former constitute a smaller proportion of the total population. Therefore, they have adopted Arab names and identity in order to differentiate themselves from Hindus and have a separate identity. For example, if a Hindustani Muslim names his son ‘Chand’ people would identify him as Hindu and that would affect his status in society.

Actually Mohenjo Daro script, at least according to one scholar is related to the Santali tribe of India. So, it is either tribal or Dravidian. It is definitely not Aryan. There are plenty of Dravidian elements in the Sind District of Pakistan. Sub racial groups that look more Dravidian then Aryan....etc.

Christians and Muslims can have similar names due to both religions having ties to the abrahamic faith. A person named Krishna would have to change his name if he converts, as it is clearly not abrahamic in nature. The names Tariq, Adam , Yousef are found not just in Arabia but also all throughout the west. Since people from Pakistan follow an abrahamic faith that is the reason why they have Abrahamic names. Pakistani last names like Rizvi, Rajput, Sheikh signify clan and caste and the “real sheikhs, Rizvi’s, Awans, Syeds all can trace back their roots to the Middle East through a structured family tree kept by an elder/Mirasi of their villages. Saying that Muslims in Pakistan with Middle Eastern ancestry should have Hindu names shows extreme Jealousy and shows how Hindus want to completely absorb current Muslims in the subcontinent and suppress them by any means. Can anyone tell me what Tariq Fateh actually wants? What is his message to society? Why he serves exited, hatred, divided speech openly? Who is benefited by his speech at his 70 up ages? Where is the sin or What is the role of today's Muslims comparing Historical characters like emperor, sultan,badsah etc.
Tariq has mentioned many times that he wants an independent Baluchistan state, and a state that is proud of its glorious heritage prior to it being invaded by Arabs and Turks. He wants a secular benevolent state that takes care of its people rather than be a vassal of Arabs or Turks. He wants to look for wisdom in the history of the land he was born in and his ancestors, rather than the conquerers who had a very banal spirituality, but had superior military prowess.
