In another state and a few years back, I was able to get the electric company to connect a temporary pole while I built. They actually let it stay for two years.

You probably already know by now that you can get temporary electric service pole on your property & also install a water tap & get building permits that last a year then get another if it expires etc. is usually how it works no matter what you build. I lived on my property that way while building almost all of 2022. It can be done! How exciting

How exciting. Would it be possible to build a garage or bay large enough for two buses and make a second story into your home. Would save paying rent to work on buses. So many possibilities. If you could get someone local to draw up building plans you both could work on it together. Your both talented.
Yay!!!! So exciting! Now comes the old lady's suggestions, lol 1. Ask neighbors if they have any old photos of the house that was there before 2. Go to City Hall/ Courthouse and see if they have a plat record, land shape, size etc, for the property you can get a copy of. 3. See if they have or know where you can get a record of architecture plans for the house that was there. I know you are not planning on building the same house but these things may help you to decide the best use for the existing foundation. 4. Go up there at different times of day and take photos in every direction so you will know the best places to put windows 5. Go in different types of weather and take photos of rain run off etc. If you do all these things when you are ready to build you will "know" your land Your Mom is wonderful. ♡♡♡ peace

You can get a temporary electric pole for construction. Ive done it many many times. They will just drop the loop at the pole and you can plug in there. my singlewide mobile is 700 sq foot and its 14x56 2bedroom, perfect size for you, Jaylena and Ember. So happy for you all!!
