What!!!! Thank you so much Pamela! In all my life, I have never, ever ever been a person to get her nails done and now I can't stop and get a kick out of doing funky, fun things to my nails. I asked my awesome nail tech, Katie (she is the sweetest person!), for an orange ombré style (c'mon...Fall) and I think she nailed it (pun intended 😆).
I see ink and pen stuff in things all the time where there is none but somehow it works for me 😆 That Alt-Goldgrūn is the best shade of green for these purposes. Rich but not too dark that you can’t pick up there’s colour there. Mmmh!
Yup, quilted for 18-ish years. First I made bed/blanket quilts for clients, even designed a few patterns. Then when it got too hard to work on the floor with the large bed quilts (😆) I ventured into art quilting. Sooo much fun! I don't quilt anymore but I do miss the fervour of buying new fabrics and dyeing fabrics for my art quilts. Sigh... Thanks for watching indeed! 🥰
Yayyy! That makes me feel sooooo much better. I took 1 German class back in college, eons ago. My daughter who went to a German Immersion school beginning in Kindergarten speaks the language fluently and always corrects my pronunciation 😂 So now I need to impress her with this when I see her next. Ha!
Ikr! I have NEVAH ever forgotten that and still tho this day, always make sure to check my hand's direction before I put them up like I did in the video. 🤣

I love Bah Humbug. Heather from pen club swatched it at the ink table at the show in July and it’s on my lst of full size Inkvent bottles to buy. The autumnal palette is shaping up to be a beautiful one.

I knew where you were heading as the one you've ended up with seems to have a green tinge to it and the golden beryl looked more in line with your inspiration pic! I've managed to put a green ink in a pen and I meant it to be a red! You can imagine my confusion when I started writing x

Lovely inks for the second half of October! The Japanese garden and rose garden in Portland are nice! Also, have you been to Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland? That is beautiful, too. I love Portland ❤. You are lucky to live there!
Yup, the Chinese Garden is smaller than the Japanese Gardens but lovely as well. Portland was an intentionally chosen place for us to live. Been here 9 yrs now and not leaving anytime soon. 😊
Hmmm. I spent the day swatching all my inks onto my Ink Drop Color Swatch (Ring Type) 😮 I not only have more pens than I think I do, but ink!!!!! Oh my goodness! 🤔😘
Yay! You got both right! I wanted to ink up the Edelstein Golden Beryl but saw my mistake while editing. Almost like I played the find the ball game with myself and lost 😆
@@wildlyimaginableI don’t have personal experience but understand from others that golden beryl can be quite cloggy. Maybe the mistake is in your favor here for a no frustration fall palette.
@@Nadia_collects Now that I think about it Nadia, earlier this year this ink clogged my 1st Pelikan pen and I was not a happy camper so you could be right, things actually went in my favour here. Thank you for the reminder.
