My neighbor destroyed his tray after trying to retrieve an ID card. He asked me to put it back together for him but I found it easier, and mentally less taxing to buy used one from the auto wreckers. The clock springs are hard to get back in once they've popped out. I'm personally moving away from the complexity of German car ownership and into electrics. I have other things to do with my time and money.
