That's how they work at the factory, but since it's not worth doing, removing the windshield, this as I recorded is the next right way. Trust me, I've done hundreds of these disassembly and repairs. Hello, not sure whether you are tracking Comments but it seems like when you removed the sun visor you disconnected the wire right on the visor bracket (0:34), not from the black plug. Asking because the hole of that grey plastic bracket has collapsed and i am exploring alternatives. Also, when you reinstalled, how did you align the nuts to screw the smaller visors on? I am having a hard time with that.
In some models, the wires can be disconnected directly to the sun visor, while in some, they can only be disconnected at the black connector. As for the alignment.. before installing the headliner, you have to check all the nuts because some move and some are deformed.. when you have prepared everything, lift the headliner, fasten it forward with one screw and then insert it into the rubber spacers, then check with a thin screwdriver if all the holes are ok and that should be it. @@VDEdition1 danas sam uspio skinut, jedva. Moro sam bas dosta savit prednji dio da bi prosao konzulo kod mjenjaca i doso do vrata. Bilo mi je cudno kako je zapravo los materijal i "traka za krecenje" preko kablova , mislio sam da je neko vec skido al eto vidim da je i kod tb tako.

@@VDEdition1 hvala na info Imate li mozda neki savjet za skidanje platna sa stubova a b c jer sam vidio da se drzi bas jako i bukvalno ga je nemoguce odlijepit. A moro sam i njih jer bi glupo bilo da je nebo crno a i pozado sa c stubova je malo popustilo bilo.

Where do the plugs at the outer sunshield mounting hole belong to? I did it and at the end i had no clue where to plug Them and my sunshield mirror light doesnt work any more
On the inside of the headliner there is an installation that connects those lights. To remove the sunshade, you have to disconnect the connector from the installation and connect it during installation. I don't know how you couldn't figure out where to plug it back in when only those two connectors are behind headliner?! Or maybe you broke the installation somewhere..

Može na zadnja ali da se svo izlomi jer je otvor uži a i sjedište smeta. Ovako se izvadi bez ikakvih oštećenja. Najbolje je da snimiš taj proces kroz zadnja vrata pa da vidimo kako ide to. LP

Nothing is scratched or damaged. The headliner shell is not so rough that it can damage and scratch the plastic.

You didn't align well with the fit, so it deviates a bit. Take off the sunglasses part, align well and then fit.
Put year in description. 2020 is different.
I put a picture of the vehicle it refers to, it even says Passat B6 in the title. This is enough information to know exactly which model is meant.
