I never get tired of listening to him. In fact I become inspired. Rest in Peace Neil and thank you for being my hero even though I know you would flinch at hearing that and being a hero. But you did inspire me.

    thanks for re-posting these,,
I remember waiting up late to call
into Rockline FM99 wnor Norfolk Va.
radio station long after my bedtime
just to ask a stupid question.. when are you touring?
( we all know the answer was always this year and they did year after year...)
glad to have all those precious memories
    "Jacobs Ladder"
    "The clouds prepare for battle
In the dark and brooding silence
    Bruised and sullen storm clouds
Have the light of day obscured
    Looming low and ominous
    In twilight premature
    Thunder heads are rumbling
    In a distant overture...
All at once, the clouds are parted
Light streams down in bright unbroken beams...
Follow men's eyes as they look to the skies
The shifting shafts of shining weave the fabric of their dreams"..

@@TheTapesArchive Neil states at the beginning regarding their
media coverage it cant be counted on.. that why we tour.
then he goes on to say how individuals rob/hog the spotlight and detract from really important issues we face in the world..cia kgb ( not much has changed about the media)
"one person made a difference" ...the anarchist
makes a difference..\lol talking about Lorina Bobet when she cut off her husbands private parts... that happened here in my home town area of Virginia Beach Virginia.,.(side note the husband (the victim) got a new pecker and became a porn star... wife went to jail.. and rehab hey wow I got a parentheses inside a parentheses ... no ?I just thought I did.. nevermind.. see ya enjoy the tape archive bro thanks.

@@TheTapesArchive Neil’s interests and perspectives were always growing it seemed. He was very humble in a way and a very nuanced thinker. Back in the 80’s and early 90’s, I saw him as the remote/distant “hero” so it is interesting that he was really quite the opposite. He worked for all his achievements step by step and even as a beloved musician, he was still setting new goals (many outside of music). Great interview.

It's interesting that the RUSH members really pay attention to their crowds. I went to the R30 show and was 2nd row Geddy's side and that gave the show a much more personal feel, but that's as close as I'd ever want to be. If I went to a meet n greet I'd be nothing but a mess of a guy in my late 50's unable to talk or see from the tears pouring down.

The text on the screen is really badly done. Did a human or some kind of AI produce it ?
That being said, the interview with Mr. Peart was excellent. If you have any other interviews with Mr. Peart please post them. Thank you.
