- Takayama is located the center of Japan, Gifu Prefecture. Traditional buildings remain at the center of the town of Takayama, which attract many tourists from around the world. I Walked around the snowy town at night.
I love the feeling of safety coming from this video. Alone, night and snow... this is exactly how I imagine perfect night walk :) I would roam around the whole night, just a hot tee and cookies in backpack :)

Due to the pandemic, I couldn't be in Takayama to see the beautiful town in snow. I miss the old lady selling mitarashi dango near the bridge. I miss everything there. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video.

It's awesome. I've been to Takayama 5 years ago in spring, and this snowy atmosphere is really wonderful. The only missing element is Lady Snowblood, waiting behind some of the wooden gates and eager to decorate the snow with red.
