I work in Finland. Before Covid I asked if there was any way for me to work 1-2 days a month from home. Because of crappy work hours which included weekend work too, I rarely saw our 2 young children for their first 3-4 years. Just 2 days a month would make home life easier for us all. I was told no, because if they allowed me to work from home, then others had to be offered this too, not enough computers, GDPR, yadayadayada. Not even half a year later Covid restrictions happened and EVERYONE were sent home to work practically immediately. 'Not possible', my a$s...
This is manipulation 101. They frame everything in a way they're the victims, or that there's nothing they can do. To deal with that, exaggerate in the direction they're pulling. Never resist, because it's your resistance that will feed their victimisation. Always put everything into what they say. "We're family". Agree, with the worst idea of family you can come up with. "Can't do that" "well, will need to look for someone that can, then/perfect. you don't need to do anything. It's me who's doing stuff/that's a big loss for you. choosing to be understaffed out of a whim, it will reflect on your performance. But do you care about that? Then how you allow yourself to be understaffed when there's an easy and cheap solution you refuse to take?" Do you really care? You definitely don't care...".The ridiculousness will expose their speech, and throwing consequences instead of objections back will force them to respond. and unless they're very quick witted and sharp minded (and no corporate troll is) they won't be able to respond without breaking their façade.
As women, we are taught to be agreeable and not go against the grain. Businesses take advantage of us being agreeable and helpful, looking for approval.
I spent 50 years working, climbing up the ladder, and by the time I retired I was just stunned how corporate "management" had changed. So many layers and useless positions had been added, and no one was responsible for or accountable for actual management or staff performance. No one can trust anyone else, and is always looking to cover their ass, rather than take responsibility for results.
I see this right now, at my place of work. Things I used to do for years--I now have to ask *permission* to do. And they never permit me to do anything--unless nobody's there to do it, but me.
@@rubies200 and then they'll be the first to bitch about poor productivity because you had to wait for all their tiered committees and reviewers to give their approvals.
I can feel these conversations in my bones. I worked for a family owned funeral home and even they pulled shit like this. Employers don’t give a 💩 about anyone but themselves.
I used to work for a certain government- operated military base retail company. Once made the mistake of going to HR over some pretty serious issues. Mentioned that I have emails to prove everything I said. Surprise! Two nights later there was a "glitch" in the company email system and somehow ALL MY EMAILS were missing and unrecoverable. Amazingly, the only two people who had been affected by this "glitch" were myself and a fellow manager who happened to have recently filed an EEO complaint. Lucky for me I had already printed hard copies of the emails in question. I could HEAR the HR manager gritting her teeth as I produced copies to her in person. Of course, still nothing was ever done and I wound up GTHO of that toxic company and never looked back.
HR is that “friend” we have who has a lot of mouth, who brags abt how tough they are and their fighting skills and the minute ur abt to get jumped, they bail and leave u to the wolves 😂😂
I was in very similar situations and did NOT get fired. Employees have rights and the Dept of Labor supports them. Fear and Ignorance keeps people from fighting for their rights.
Thank you for this information. Most do not know where to begin. When being mistreated. Even after going to HR MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! On lead and Supervisor harassment. This is a BIG Company too.

@@carlaamanda86No one expects you to speak like Veronica, but if you think like her & don't support her, that's definitely a problem, one that will eventually lead to all the problems she is trying to address here, and the problems that will likely lead to your own firing.
When you demonstrate self-love self-value and self-worth, you actually raise your vibrational frequency, as we are all energy beings. And when lower vibrational co-workers employers and jobs fall away, even environments or partners and family members, we must let them leave. it allows space for higher frequency situations and opportunities to come in, it is physically unhealthy to stay where it blocks our energy flow❤
@carlaamanda86 you absolutely do. It's just words, act as if, pretend you are an actress. Practice because it will become natural, just as anything does, the same way you got conditioned to not have the spark, from childhood... you must know your worth and your value, deep within... it stems from a healthy childhood which most of us never had. If our parents can't demonstrate healthy relationships with themselves first and then with each other, consistently and dependently, and Empower children to be authentic at all times, then we have to figure it out on our own and reparent ourselves accordingly❤ because the more we put up with nonsensical upside down illogical behaviors, the more we are participating and encouraging it to continue. So we are helping them harm us, which we do as children as well until we wake up to empowering ourselves especially with family. Employers and especially family tend to infantilize and Gaslight employees, and their children. to continue that in adulthood to maintain control over them. Learning to receive just as much as you give is a very important part of health and healing mama just as maintaining balance in our own lives, internally and externally also is, everything must be in balance❤ question everything, practice being firm but sensical and honor yourself, because you can only teach people how to treat you, they will not learn on their own, as family does not either. and any employers that we encounter that are similar to our parents are the blessing and the opportunity to learn to stand up for ourselves, which is why we attract these type of jobs, if we didn't learn to do it on our own❤ so they will try to guilt and shame you just as parents do, and the lesson is to politely decline to take on those lower vibrational heavy emotions because they do not belong in our body. When someone tries to shame or guilt you it's because they are trying to offload what's going on within them. You never have to take it on😊
Most companies don't want to admit it, but when a good employee leaves or a set of good team leaves, a badly managed company does eventually fail. Happened with all my previous work places, where poor management & poor work conditions existed.
That's the reason my previous place of work went out of business. The writing was on the wall. A lot of directors left and most of them went to the same company.
My mom lost an insurance job a little over a year ago now and she's glad she was let go because she got severance and right now the company is about to go under, my mom started working for them because they were people over profit but that changed in the last 5-10 years, they started getting more strict about what policies she could write, needing approval for things she had never needed approval for before and then they 'downsized' the department she worked in, so they sent her to another department but then still expected her to pick up the slack for the one person remaining in the department she left, they gave her miniscule training and then let her go when she wasn't writing policies for restraunts as fast as she was writing policies for farms on pretty much no training.
Yep, what she said about retaliation. Happens 80% of the time or more and nothing is done to the perpetrators, especially since in too many companies, the good ole boys run the show. Been there, done that, just like an abusive or any other toxic relationship, when it's time to go, it's time to go. Get your exit strategy together one way or the other, because if you complain you'll be driven out and if you stay you'll burn out. Work to live, don't live to work, especially if you're being treated like dirt.
I have worked at 2 different companies where they say there’s no retaliation but there actually is. My sister and I both actually. She had to quit because the supervisors were making derogatory comments towards women and they always wanted her to come in and work alone with the guy (at least twice her age), and she kept telling the higher ups she wanted back in her previous department. Fast forward a few months: that department fired me for no reason, I was called back to my previous department. My sister quit and has now applied for unemployment and I might have to as well because I might be getting laid off for the 2nd time this year on Monday. And I told my mom if they lay me off a second time I’m not going back because that just shows they really don’t appreciate me after the work I’ve put in the last 2 years. And this is including all the trouble at home with the neighbors, our house falling apart, my grandma passing and my brother being hospitalized. And I spent whole shifts just crying and they’d be all “what’s wrong? You can tell me.” Yeah, I could but it’s not like you’d understand.
Yup. This was the company I worked for. They lost a good employee when they screwed me over. I would have done anything for them when I started - by the end of my job I was just putting in the minimum.
My last job kind of broke my heart, after five years of a blemish free record, often volunteering to do extra I was not supported . It really led to the end of my career and early retirement.
I’m a total Veronica. I’m so glad those years are over for me. Funny thing is standing up for myself made them afraid to fire me , so I always got a hefty severance package. They knew I wasn’t to be played with, and I did it respectfully and honestly like Veronica.
That's the God earnest truth. The ultimate moral here is to know your worth and NEVER settle for less than it. Once your employees view that they don't exactly have you "by the balls," any potential future threats of termination are rendered null and void. And..... so long as you possess receipts (e.g.: emails Bcc'd to your personal address, printouts, photos, and recorded evidence of repeated company wrongdoings...) you'll ALWAYS depart with a lovely early retirement (....coughs), I mean "severance package!" 🎤👇🏾🔥🔥🔥💨
This is exactly how big companies treat hard working employees! While you’re working your butt off, there’s always some narcissist coworker who leaves you his/her work to do, while they spend all their time is the bosses office kissing ass! They always beat the hardest working mule to squeeze even more out of you, while many other lazy employees gaslight management and badmouth you behind your back!
Thats why you should never work in big companies. Or if you work, you should ensure you have very good pay and save up enough to say i had enough. The reality is people often trap themself to whose Toxic companies. They have alot of liabilities.
@@neemekolan2021 I had pretty good pay, and at 20 years of service, they ripped the pension they promised right out from under me. They said at this point, you’re no longer accumulating pension. @jimsmisadventuresinbeekeeping June 10th of this year was two years since I retired. I was 56 when I got out. The hr people were trying to push me into a job I didn't want to go back to, so I told them I was retiring. She said that I wasn't old enough to retire. Ha 😏
I stopped working after 35 years as a RN - it’s a brutal job. Then I waited nearly a year and a half but I was fortunate enough to get disability the first time around though the joint surgeries starting in childhood (8 knee surgeries, 3 back surgeries, still need 6 more orthopedic surgeries and I have to wait until I qualify for Medicare next year). And now I’m working in retail part time just to make a little extra though it’s really hard on my joints - I literally bought a tiny chair to sit in periodically because my joints feel like broken glass in being ground in them after standing up on concrete for even a few hours. Being able to sit every once in a while helps. Retail is a tough gig but everyone is nice, you always get your breaks and the management team is decent and approachable.
Ran into similar levels of nonsense that developed in 4 different jobs, serially, with changes in management. Near as I could tell, the company boards had always been rather useless but they hadn't previously been under pressure to step in when their managerial culture was degrading. In the last job, a board member actually tried to get me to do her job by intervening with other board members. Either that or she was setting me up to get blamed so I'd shut up about it all. I gave up and retired early instead. My income is thin but the peace of mind is more than worth it. Now, after several years of recuperating, I can't believe what all that stress had been doing to me. My heart goes out to everyone who feels trapped in bs like this, not thinking there are other options. There usually are but the exhaustion of working in a toxic environment can take so much out of you that you don't see them.
Thank god for time stamped emails now. Record and document everything on email if your manager is a troll. They can’t deny writing with time stamps and pictures.
I kept a notebook. I wrote down every encounter that was not appropriate or troublesome; plant manager, supervisor, HR, engineers, team lead, maintenance, quality, other employees…we had 350 hires and quit in 1 year because of the toxic people.
I totally get this! I had a company who didn’t want to give me 3 days bereavement leave. Then when it came to my raise the wouldn’t give me one and tried to fail me on the way I dressed bc I was depressed after loosing my mom, I didn’t do my makeup. They said I was gone from work to long. Even though I even had a medical note stating I should be off for a lot longer. Like 6months I didn’t qualify for FMLA. So they said I could have my normal weekend off and no more. They said well I lost my mom too but that is just an excuse not to work and look nice when you returned after 3 days. I quit. Since the docked me for being off that long too. The put it as a delinquency and strike against me.
Every year we had to get a job performance evaluation from a manager who had the perk of working from home whenever she wanted to. Turns out she wanted to almost all the time. How the hell does that work? To top it off, she had a business degree, while I was medical staff. She did not understand much of what I did. So one of her questions at this review was, “what are your goals for the coming year?” My answer was always, “to fund my retirement.” These managers came and went within two years tops. They were all climbing the corporate ladder.
Yes... I started a bartending job w/ 1 slow closing shift, in agreement that I'd get better hours. I got another slow closing shift, then have to come back 6 hrs later for an opening shift. I made the best of it, & began doing all the extra work nobody else would do, going above & beyond to make it better for the whole "team". I FINALLY got better shifts & worked 1 great week with my new schedule. Then, I was informed that I would be going back to my old schedule since I knew everything that needed to be done & because they wanted the new hires w/ZERO experience to work the daytime shifts...the $ shifts. They knew that NO BODY would do all the work I had been doing on those slow shifts plus the extra work to help out management for the amount of money we were paid hourly. I said,"I've waited months & worked hard for those shifts & I need to pay my bills, so I won't be doing that", & walked away. Strong work ethic is a hard thing to come by in this day and age, so I'm sure they figured that out. 🖤🔥🖤🔥🖤
Im sry to hear they did you like that Sybil. I understand what you are saying and I know your hrly wage is not enough to get by. Your tips are crucial and its why the company gets away with not paying minimum wage. I'm sure some do, but its still not enough to get by on. I hope with your good work ethic, you will find an employer that will appreciate you.
@robertramsey653 Thank you. Some people said I was stupid for quitting, but I could not continue allowing them to get away with that...especially, for $5 an hr. I am worth WAY more than that. 🖤🔥🖤🔥🖤
Two week notices, especially if you leave the fact you worked there. Help management gauge wether they may consider you for a promotion in the future based on those actions. Part of the reason I give one.
My mom passed away several years ago and I was the only one who could make all the arrangements and take care of everything including cleaning out an apartment with a large amount of stuff. I told my manager at the time that I would need more than the three paid days off that the company gave us. I had plenty of sick/vacation time. He refused. I ended up going to the doctor because my blood pressure was crazy high because of all of this and got a note. My manager got pissed but couldn't do anything. A year and a half later My Father passed (during covid) I was working from home and called my boss. The first words out of his mouth were "You better not take more than 3 days off again". Makes me not want to work for any of these people any more...
I loved the “this is anonymous” NOTHING negative is ever “anonymous”. And, if you are the only person voicing concerns, they know exactly who you are. I was at an offsite seminar with 2 co-workers and 47 people from other companies. My bosses manager did 1 of the presentations. She was the worst presenter I had ever witnessed up to that point in my career. She was so nervous, she was levitating off the walls, plus she said several blatantly wrong things. I thought, “My God how do you rise to her level in a company and not have had any training or practice in public speaking?” It was a 3 day seminar and at the end we were asked to provide a written review of each presenter. We were told it was an “anonymous” review. Remember, there were 50 people providing reviews and our names were not on the reviews. Don’t ask me how, but she quickly figured out that her bad review belonged to 1 of the 3 of us. Nothing is ever anonymous! And, this was before cell phones, the internet was in its infancy and there was no such thing as social media.
If it really were a family, no need to say it. Everyone s there just for the pay. Pretending to be a family, just means the management is going to gaslight their employees.
I feel the manager is gaslighting Veronica by asking her how she thinks people at the company will view her using a tactic to make Veronica feel isolated also trying to make Veronica feel that she is doing something wrong trying to make her question her actions, a lot of coercive control going on here but Veronica is having none of it.
How to survive a toxic work environment: quit! 😂😂 What I've learned after putting a month notice in before - that's not how you do it! What I do now, I stop showing up and when they contact me to ask where I am I just say "I quit, bye" And the ending 😂 I've had the same, big boss asking me why I didn't bring everything up with him to which I replied: you're the person I trust the least 😂😂😂😂
@Cristian.Calin I am over here laughing. I put in 2 weeks. Then never show up! For now on, I won't put in anything at all. Hopefully, I can start generating income for myself soon. Employers don't give a damn about us. They are stupid and evil. They play on your mental health! I ignore them and do my job. I'm just working for a check. The minute I find an escape plan. I am gone!
ROFLMAO! I've been RETIRED for 10 years and let me tell you ... the "team player" concept is the biggest psy-op in corporate America. Translation: "dumb, compliant, submissive slave". But you're not as "dumb" as they think. You're "playing dumb" to keep your job.
Theres always some petty tyrant in some low level management position that thinks they are hot schitt and wants to push people around, who love to abuse their little authority.
THIS!!! And usually that person is the least skilled or knowledgeable or educated. But they are in charge, or even friends or family of company leadership or management. Poor management continues to be the primary reason employees leave companies.
Yes. I missed my great-aunt's funeral and did not know my Dad would get up to speak of the early years of his childhood and his love for her. He had never spoken of it. I missed, all of it because I knew my boss wouldn't like me taking off. Also, didn't stay with my ailing grandma, who raised me, because again, I knew my boss wouldn't like it, before she passed.
We had someone who had a lot of absences (legitimate) and then her grandmother died and supervisor said she intended to refuse leave (we had 4 days of funeral leave a year). We told supervisor her job would be covered by us, when she still threatened she wasn't going to allow it, we took it to HR, supervisor was told she didn't have an option to refuse.
Love these episodes!😂This is so true, my last “directors” were just like this! Didn’t appreciate excellent employees and now they are struggling to keep the company afloat! You can’t do people wrong and not expect it to come back to you!
Nailed it!!!!! When THEY need something, if you can't, you're "not a,team player...." When YOU need something....it's a straight no, OR you're made to feel bad for asking. Hey "Bosses" ..... "......it's a two way street....."
Save money when you can, so that when your job presents with bullst, or decides to let you go you can survive. I know it may not be possible, but if you can, be ready so you can leave if necessary. Bring your own lunch, bring your own coffee, dont call out, cook your own food. You work hard for your money. Remember, jobs don't care about you.
You're so right. I saved aggressively because I knew I couldn't continue working in a toxic environment. By the time I resigned I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety and PTSD. The discussion should also be about how toxic environments affect mental health. My savings helped me resign without any stress about financial well-being.
I agree you! Everything you described, I do. I saved a ton of money from just cooking my own food everyday. Ordering out was too expensive. These are words to live by right here!!
Don't ever tip your hand to employers. Don't ever give notice when moving to a new job. Just go. No company ever "stands behind" an employee. That's Personnel Dept. bullshit. Don't believe it. If they were to fire you, how much notice do you think you'd get?
The gaslighting is so familiar at the workforce. I acted the same way before I quit. Quiet quitting is very popular. They literally do not care about their co workers. Things haven't really changed or gotten better. It's still toxic. I've been working since 1987. Same when I worked in the office and even in a salon, it doesn't matter.
It sure it's better but things like these happen in Europe too. You have more chances to 'win' as an employee, but you often have to fight the fight anyway.
I have been that Employee who stands up for herself. All I ever got was labeled the "difficult" employee and told that I need to "just put your head down and do your job" I even worked for a company that's only purpose, was to stand up for workers rights.
I love the energy of these little cartoons.I love it.I wish it was real and happened all the time. The old saying do unto others as you would have others do until you
I often say I wish I saw these videos 20 years ago when I was entering corporate as a naive 19-year-old because the hell I went through in a lot of places could have been avoided, good content
I really liked the last video, which shows that even good intentioned manager/boss can be at fault. It was their responsibility to actively make sure the lower managers were doing their job adequately, and make sure the stated values of the company were indeed valued.
I once interviewed for a company of 20 people. One of those was HR. A full 5% of the company was for HR. As I questioned this, I was able to work out that half of the staff is fired every 3 months so they don't have to pay for benefits for new hires. I didn't accept their offer.
Im retired, but workplace bullying is real. Ive worked for managers that made remarks about my appearance etc. Straight up assholes. So glad Im out of that mess.
I would have not been there a year later. I would have left for another job after the funeral and I would not have notified them beforehand. There would be no 1 year later
Sounds like a Boss i had about 2 years ago. I am so glad I dont work there anymore. Other people would do samething and she never pulled them in. When i requested to go on outings in Hollywood she told me No but found out she lets all the other new staff go to Hollywood and other places. She stopped a promotion twice for me. I found out she called the manager of another department and said not to hire me. Eventhough I worked even longer when she needed me to. She is a terrible Program Manager and should be removed. And my Employment now is Wonderful and I love the family I work with. We call ourselves a Family 😊
Well done. Some companies do not understand that they have managers representing them to strangulate their public image. I had a pathological liar as a boss at my last job. An environment that do not struggle to do drama and make the unreal to look real. It was a 2 months with the devil himself, but I survived by the help of divine arrangement and have the good understanding that power sometimes enter into the hands of wrong people but by natural law they regret their actions at last. Smiling now😂
People STOP.. asking on your jobs. 1. Can I go to the bathroom 2. Can I blow my nose 3 Can I leave work early Sometimes, these things I've just given an example of, DON'T need to be asked. You say I'm going to the bathroom. I'm going to blow my nose, I've put everything in place &I leaving early today. Because you've worked there long enough to know that others have done the same, & no manager will say a word. In other words, if you make a statement such as "I'm going to the bathroom," it doesn't require a yes or no answer. Think about it. If you ask a small child, do you have to go to the bathroom? 9 times out of 10, the will say no. But as soon as you get in the car to leave home, not even 10 minutes have passed since you asked your child this question, then here it comes, I need to go to the bathroom 😢. Don't get mad. Do this. Jason, go to the bathroom. we're leaving out as soon as you're finished. The child says ok, mom. I've done this with my son when he was little & being a preschool teacher, you know the do's & Don't (s) trust me. You're adults, not children, so QUIT asking questions that REQUIRE yes & no answers. Trust me, it works.. I'm 63 years old now, and I've been doing this a long, long time. RETIRED NOW THOUGH. I DID IT EARLY because being in the workplace was enough.

Except that Veronica doesn't actually exist. If she did, she'd likely be fired ASAP.

I have had bosses like this but didn't know how to deal with them. It's the way they talk down to you in such a patronising manner
Same
U have to value yourself and know your worth to know how to answer that.
Eventually you just buck up and basically give 2 middle fingers
As women, we are taught to be agreeable and not go against the grain. Businesses take advantage of us being agreeable and helpful, looking for approval.
I spent 50 years working, climbing up the ladder, and by the time I retired I was just stunned how corporate "management" had changed. So many layers and useless positions had been added, and no one was responsible for or accountable for actual management or staff performance. No one can trust anyone else, and is always looking to cover their ass, rather than take responsibility for results.
And it is about to get much worse.
Because the more layers a manager has below them, the bigger the salary.
I see this right now, at my place of work. Things I used to do for years--I now have to ask *permission* to do. And they never permit me to do anything--unless nobody's there to do it, but me.
@ This is a form of fascism being pushed by the wealthy. CONTROL is their by-word.

Boss may be disappointed but we’re so proud of Veronica for articulating boundaries.
Never, ever, ever trust HR … no matter what they tell you. Anonymity does NOT exist. HR’s only job is to protect the company.
They prevent company getting sued
In my last job, HR had a special speed dial button on there phones just for calling my desk. They are rotten to the core
There are a few of us who are not evil and actually care about and advocate for the employees.

I was in very similar situations and did NOT get fired. Employees have rights and the Dept of Labor supports them. Fear and Ignorance keeps people from fighting for their rights.
Have you ever tried to contact the Dept of Labor? Good luck
PERIOD!
This happens to Labor Dept. employees, too
Thank you for this information. Most do not know where to begin. When being mistreated. Even after going to HR MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! On lead and Supervisor harassment. This is a BIG Company too.
The Dept of Labor won't exist much longer if President Musk has his way
Knowing your rights and how management thinks only really works if you’re the confrontational type and can easily get another job.
that's why you learn to move in the shadows and collect evidence, or alternatively move in the shadows to save a bit up and/or find a different job before peace-ing out.
either way this is just a power fantasy...
Facts. I could NEVER speak like this. Like especially at work. I wish I could but could neverrrrr. I just don’t have that ✨spark✨ in me. 😩
Yep!
That's the reason my previous place of work went out of business. The writing was on the wall. A lot of directors left and most of them went to the same company.
@@melanier7309 The company I work for is on a PIP with the federal government. They're all incompetent. They care more about talking than working.
Yup! I resigned in October...just watching the rep fail at her job is embarrassing to our HOA/Property.
And it is about to be regulated that the workers have zero right to speak back.🤦🏻♀️
The best response ever
So true! Good advice!
I’m at Step number burnout 😭
Ditto
My last job kind of broke my heart, after five years of a blemish free record, often volunteering to do extra I was not supported . It really led to the end of my career and early retirement.
This is just 1 of a 100 reasons why I worked for myself for 20 years.
what did you do for a living?
bleh.. I hate corporate. I also decided to work for myself 25 years ago.
Do not EVER come back to work early, after losing a loved one. It is never appreciated. Period.

I’m a total Veronica. I’m so glad those years are over for me. Funny thing is standing up for myself made them afraid to fire me , so I always got a hefty severance package. They knew I wasn’t to be played with, and I did it respectfully and honestly like Veronica.
So glad it worked out for you, but it did not for me
That's the God earnest truth.
And that's why you shouldn't give you 100% until it's earned
Thats why you should never work in big companies. Or if you work, you should ensure you have very good pay and save up enough to say i had enough. The reality is people often trap themself to whose Toxic companies. They have alot of liabilities.
@@neemekolan2021 I had pretty good pay, and at 20 years of service, they ripped the pension they promised right out from under me. They said at this point, you’re no longer accumulating pension. I retire August 1st of next year and am so looking forward to it.
@jimsmisadventuresinbeekeeping June 10th of this year was two years since I retired. I was 56 when I got out. The hr people were trying to push me into a job I didn't want to go back to, so I told them I was retiring. She said that I wasn't old enough to retire. Ha 😏
Amen . I retired in 2017 . Thank you Jesus!

How to survive a toxic work environment: quit! 😂😂

I love this. I feel like I lived it … I wish I could have had this courage and been able to speak up. I missed family funerals and I SO regret that.
Wow…. This must be from the same place I work at!!😂😂😂😂
Sounds like a Boss i had about 2 years ago.
Smiling now😂
Bruh the many times I've cussed her management out throughout this clip...😂😂😂
People STOP.. asking on your jobs.
1. Can I go to the bathroom
2. Can I blow my nose
3 Can I leave work early
Sometimes, these things I've just given an example of, DON'T need to be asked. I've done this with my son when he was little & being a preschool teacher, you know the do's &
Don't (s) trust me. You're adults, not children, so QUIT asking questions that REQUIRE yes & no answers. Trust me, it works.. I'm 63 years old now, and I've been doing this a long, long time. RETIRED NOW THOUGH. I DID IT EARLY because being in the workplace was enough.
I love this series of vids. I wish I had seen them when I was working under and extremely toxic and corrupt person. I needed these skills of communication and didn't have them at that point.
3:45 now hold on 1 million bucks. I’ll put a lot of pride away for $1 million because I can leave after that.
😂😂😂
I’ve walked out on companies that acted like this to me. My family and loved ones come before my job.
I love big boss, she's the only decent manager in the whole joint!
The problem is that big boss is doing nothing to stop the lower management from abusing their employees
@ruthmontes514 Great point - her heart's in the right place, but she's not effective enough to see and prevent the issues.
Maybe, but also she is hiding behind the lower level bosses
I've never worked in such an environment, but for some reason I really enjoy watching these! So glad to be self-employed for decades.
Sounds familiar with these big healthcare corporations. They don't care about their employees, period!
I love this channel. Exactly why I’ve chosen to work for myself. This was all so familiar for me. So many experiences like this on my journey. I also love the EYEBROW movements 😂😂😂. Thank you for sharing your creativity
The I had rather die but Thank You at the end summed it up perfectly 😂
It's so the real world. 💯
Don't let your work know what you do after work. In their opinion you have alot other things to do.
I think I know what you mean. Give them the impression you've got a life, when in reality you don't 😄😕
@@keepgoing7533I once told my boss I was going to get drunk as hell on my weekend off so make sure you have the guys you need for those two days. DON'T CALL ME!
Yeah, whenever I stood up for myself like Veronica does in these videos, I'd get fired...
Where do you live? Cause it sounds quite brutal
Really?
@@jfwyvill Yes, really. Always "without cause" - no reason given. Sued a couple of them for wrongful dismissal and they settled, but it was just a lot of time and energy I shouldn't have had to spend...
@ I am making the assumption you are in the US? I could be wrong.
Oh no definitely the wonderful USA!
Can't watch all the way through. It's setting off my work trauma response (I wish I was kidding. I can't watch The Office either).
I loved watching the office. The meeting I had the next day was a repeat episode.
These vids are like gold!
