My sense is that the Donald has most of his liquid cash assets are in offshore accounts. He's probably living off his PAc contributors... certainly paying legal fees with it. He cannot escape this penalty if he remains in America. I understand the court will appoint a financial overseer to disgorge his real estate assets until the fine is satisfied. He has no choice. He does plan to appeal, and that will take time and more money, and the outcome is certainly in doubt.
We all realise trump is going to leech that money instead of paying it himself, right?
The problem with Trump began long ago with people enabling him and the many many years of no one holding him accountable. Excellent speech at the end, Leticia James. Your words were inspiring. You did not gloat. You upheld a basic belief in America of equal justice and today you did it with grace.
