    This is absolutely amazing! I didn't know the A7C could perform this well in low light scenarios.
    Did you have to use something like NeatVideo to clean the darkest areas a bit?

    • @CC-gt3ro
      @CC-gt3ro 3 года назад +3

      Hi i have a7c as well. You don’t need neatvideo plug in with this camera, it is an amazing camera in low light up to 12800 iso so it can see in nearly dark scenarios with no noise. The camera is superb in photos and videos as well especially at 4k24 100 mbits. I have the camera for one week and i am tested it in extreme scenarios, and the camera is outstanding with the Tamron 17-28 f2.8. The guy that filmed this incredible video use a similar Tamron 28-75 f2.8. Tamron lens are extremely lightweight and get very good quality picture with the sony a7c. They also have the 70-180 f2.8 for a full package at constant f2.8. I also plan to buy the dji ronin rsc2, fully compatible with a7c and the tamron lenses and the flash hvl-f45rm which include a led light for video. The a7c is more lightweight. I have the microphone professional azden smx30 mono/stereo and the sound is also exçeptional.the full kit is 1kg only (body, battery, lens 17-28, microphone)

    How do you achive this look?

    I can't quite figure out how to get this cinematic look with that crispy sharpness, nice colors and so much clean darkness :o

    • @mjdGallery
      @mjdGallery  3 года назад +5

      I've got the PP settings in the description. For sharpness I don't know I just shoot it in 4k, edit on a 4k timeline, then export it in 4k ha. For color I pulled the left part of the "s-curve" thingy down just a bit to darken the whole picture, then added a bit of saturation back. And as for the darkness I shot it at ISO (1000-2500) and in post I just darkened the shadows. I also used Neatvideo to clean up most of the noise. Not sure if that answers your questions lol. You should try and shoot with you "Detail" setting set to 0. For this I have it set to -7, so having it a 0 may help a bit.

    Do not want to bother you, but I noticed one white dot - position - bottom third, left from the middle. At first I thought that I got bad pixel on my monitor, checked out and it is not. Not constantly present, but appears quite often, could be dust on sensor... Btw great video.

And sometimes I just go out and stack footage not having a clue what kind of music I'll be using, but I just make sure I always have a lot of footage to narrow down to use, so whatever music I do find and choose to use, I can make something out of it ha, whatever that may be.
