Still would be smart to come here with no less than $150,000 saved up just to make settling in a lot easier and faster. Just my opinion for what we did. Retired military as well.

If you have never lived in a "Tiny-home" I suggest you rent out a tiny home for 1 year and attempt to do so. Most people eventually learn that lifestyle is NOT for them. It may seem "reasonable" but in the end if they would have spent alittle more they would be much happier in the long run. There are SO many housing opportunities depending upon what location you are looking at....My advice to you is to find a larger place - home and land. Because the outside living areas you can create will be heavily used - often more so than the indoors areas (except the bedroom) Make sure you have plumbing, electrical, sewer, WiFi services that you want as well.

I noticed that the table was set and ready for a meal but I don't see a cooktop or oven in the kitchen. How do you cook in these houses ?

BRUH!! 5k USD for that? Right now you'd have to put at least one more zero on that in the US if not a full six figures. You're really making the pitch for moving to the Philippines. I hope they're cutting you some cash for all the good you're doing.

I can't understand the English. Very confusing. I'm Filipino too but this is too confusing. Too bad. It would have been interesting to know what the bare house is supposed to be like. But the conversation is all over the place. I recommend an interpreter.

It can’t be built at best quality. At that price they almost running on paper thin profit. That almost the price to build the house let alone to sell it.

They're not at best nor they're at worst. The construction labor cost is cheap, so the price is cheaper compared to USA + bureaucracy.

Hi, what's the name of the company selling those houses. My friend, a Filipina is interested in them. She has a land plot in Batangas province and she want to put a house like the one you shared in it. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Sam

Don't buy a single-detached home because the land is not yours. Buy a condo, maybe a condo situated on a minimum of 10 to 15 story building.

Better for your wallet if you keep renting, one day you might need that 4k for emergency or medical in the Philippines, so please be careful

Agree. Rent is so cheap in Phillipines and you can always just pick up and move if you get bored of the area. You also wouldn't have to worry about a typhoon sweeping your investment away or relationship problems making you lose the house. Think smart.😁
