thank you for going into all the different aspects like seatbelt chime and reversing, had to go through several other videos that lacked this until i found yours(:
The specs on my 2023 Corolla hybrid LE AWD arriving in 2 weeks say the motor is a 1.8L 138 hp ice engine we shall see when I get it.....And mine came from japan because the VIN # starts with a J.....The dealer told me today it is on a train heading toward IL and should arrive around the 19th.
Very nice review. I really like your style, no commentary, but still letting you know what you need to know. I have a 24le of this hybrid, and I love it.
just got my 2024 3 weeks ago i think they made some improvments im driving eco mode and i am a slow driver and im 60mpg avg. i love meets all my needs comfort releability and features.
@JayGTestDrives Thank you for nice and quiet review I just got 2023 hybrid LE. I am having some trouble in getting back to car settings in infotainment from Apple Carplay (like going back to cars original settings when you are not connected with Apple CarPlay). I don’t see any button or anything. My other car has physical button which can use to exit from Apple CarPlay screen while still connected. Thanks in advance!!!
Thanks, man. I appreciate it. This is one of the best long-lasting hybrid platforms on the market. It's based on the Toyota Prius. Easily, it will last 200k if you take care of it.
Hey man, would you rather get a Corolla hybrid 2023 le or a Kia Forte lx ? Corolla has better mpg and a bit more reliable I guess Forte looks better from outside and slightly cheaper I’m just curious since you have driven both. Which one felt better and which do you recommend? Thanks
Got this last month as a cheap commuter for work/daily life. Minus not having a push to start and blind spot monitoring as standard it is really nice! I love driving it. Really quiet, and basically the same interior as the new model prius but without the new prius price tag! Also made in Japan so hope to have this for the next decade....or two!
Hello. Could you tell me if the compartment where the tire repair kit is stowed would be big enough to hold either a full size or donut spare tire if you remove the styrofoam? Thanks for any enlightenment.
@@normanwells2755 Yes. The manual actually comes with pictures of a spare wheel in the event your Corolla LE Came with a spare wheel(guess some have them?)instead of the repair kit. And at the bottom of the styrofoam is a center wheel screw in part welded to the bottom of the trunk, along with some flat rubber-like stuff(guessing to cushion the wheel to prevent rattling). Seems like Toyota designed to have spare wheels in there, or at least they gave us the option to source one if we wanted to get rid of the repair kit, which is nice.
@@normanwells2755 I read through the entire manual if you have any other questions lol. I was stuck in traffic for 5 hours after buying my Corolla LE, so I read all the books LOL
@@TravelingTaco86 Thank you for your reply. Yes the gas only Corolla does come with a spare. The hybrid comes only with the repair kit. To further complicate matters the Hybrid AWD has cables leading to some box (I guess to help run the rear electric motor) which takes up room in that compartment but I presume the box could be relocated. I hope you are enjoying your vehicle.
@@normanwells2755 I didn't know the Gas Corolla came with a spare! I prefer spares since they are easier to change, and the repair kit is too time-consuming. Sounds like I will need to go to a junkyard and grab me one! According to Toyota, they added the repair kit to make it easier, but too many steps for me. Guess they did it for a better mpg rating for less weight. Ahh, yeah, that sounds annoying. And yes, very nice cheap modern vehicle!
The startup chime logic reminds me of Ford. It forgets that it's supposed to play the new chime, so it initially plays the old chime, and it suddenly plays the new chime

Love this car, has more tech features than its competitors at this price range

I noticed the new 2023 LE's are made in Japan now with a 2.0 engine standard. Great move by Toyota.
All the inventory of 2023 Corollas coming to my dealer are US made
For sale in the US, only the hybrids, and the Corolla hatchbacks are made in Japan.

@@lennygarrison6836 that makes sense. I can see that now.

Definitely toyota has improved in there steering assist!
It would be nice looking car, if wasn't for this stupid huge front grill air intake

Seems like a bit boring car? Good engine and well built. Well put together. How did you enjoy the ride?
It's very smooth, barely any road noise best bang for your buck
It’s a sub 23k car. Very good for that price considering it’s a hybrid.
Considering the price of new cars nowadays the fact you can get a brand new car with that MPG is incredible
i like the corolla :)

Just hit the Toyota logo on Apple Car Play and it should take you back to the normal Infotainment

Canadian Corolla hybrid has
P195/65R15 tire size
Stock on US Corolla hybrids is 205/55R16 on a steel or alum rim on LE/XLE and on the SE it's 225/40R18 on a painted alum rim.
can you review the new 2023 Bmw 320d?
only got 300 miles on mine love it already
I have the exact same car, and I love mine. Same color and interior. I have the AWD. I paid about $28,000 for it.

Why are SF Bay Area Dealers charging $29K for this still? 🤦♂️😭🤦♂️

In Mexico, the HV 2023 LE does not have the same front lights.

Does it automatically opens like the Prius?
I was told 16" tires in LE are quieter than 18" tires in SE because they have more rubber. Is that true?
Yes, correct. I've driven both, and the SE has way more road noise.
is the steering really light and vague?
For this fairly new model is platinum extra VSA add on worth it?
It doesn’t have a stray button?
