-Wala saufa yu'ti ka rabuka fatardha. (Ad-duha) I heard tt someone lost hope and said this repeatedly during umrah in sujood. N it kind of became my fav. But personally, i do selawat when i feel difficulty. Not exactly repeating a verse. :)
Assalam Alykum Sheikh. Please teach US about the name of Allah Al Adheem and Al 'Alaa. Would like to understand more about those name because we use those name in Rukuu and Sujuud
@AminaMohammed-g2g here is how i look at it, Al-Adheem has to do with Allah being Magnificent, so it is used in ruku, because we are bowing only infront of the true Magnificent One and no one else. We use Al' Alaa, meaning the Most High, as you are on the most lowest part when in sujood, you are praising the most High. Sheikh can correct me of my understanding is correct.
No calamity ˹or blessing˺ occurs on earth or in yourselves without being ˹written˺ in a Record before We bring it into being. This is certainly easy for Allah. Hadid 22

There are many but I never forgot this one the first time I read it: Al-A'raf (7:44): "And the companions of Paradise will call out to the companions of the Fire, 'We have certainly found what our Lord promised us to be true. Have you found what your Lord promised to be true?' They will say, 'Yes.' Then a caller will announce among them, 'The curse of Allah shall be upon the wrongdoers.'"
