@CrownedK my only recommendation is to be careful when you remove the command strips. We removed some of the wall with it. If it's hard to come off look at some videos first.
Looks great. Yes, be careful as this is glass and could come down around children or pets while you are away. At work someone used the velcro command strips for pictures. They started falling after a couple of years. I am sure he didn't use alcohol, and don't remember if the velcro stayed on the wall. They were the right type for the weight of the pictures.
The reason why this works is it adds verticality, pulling your eyes up and giving a more expansive feel and visual drama to the space. In a few years the command strips will dry out and the mirrors will fall so maybe think about a more permanent installation if you like it.
Thin nails always work for me when I hang these kinds of mirrors. They go through the frame easily u just have to be careful not to nail the glass ofc😊
It looks great but i think you need to reinforce it either a frame around or use a frame bracket to.properly hang it..the command strips will eventually peel off or the paper backing will peel off and will become a hazard.. esp if you have kids, especially its the end of the stairs and a high traffic area.
I love it and am so glad you showed the finished product FIRST, before you put it together with four separate mirrors because it would have been possible to "unsee" the four mirrors. I truly thought this was a huge mirror, made this way-just one large mirror-not four skinny ones! Gorgeous!
I absolutely love 💕 this idea 💡. I was wondering 🤔 what do with the wall by my bedroom door. 🤔💞💡Thank You for posting this on You Tube. 💞💞💞🎊 High end decor with a rich 🤑 girl vibe on a budget. Gorgeous! 🙋🏾♀️😇👸🏾😁🤑💞💞💞🎸🎶💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽🎊
Wow! I rarely save videos but I'm definitely saving this one! It really makes your space look taller, and your ceiling looks higher! And the mirrors look expensive! Love it!
@@CrownedK it looks fabulous!!!! 🌸🤩 So rich totally looking!! … And what I really appreciate is you showing your trial and errors! - I hesitate so much because I think I’m not creative like everyone else… Seeing the blank wall, the picture on the wall, the first oval mirror, and then!!… even mistakes with the Walmart mirrors… ☺️Helps me see that people don’t just get it right on the first try! Now I know that if I fail at first I don’t have to just give up. 🥴 Thank you soo much!!!🙏🌷 May God Bless You!! 🤗💜🕊
If you have trouble with them staying up use corner tacks. They either need to be nailed or screwed in and come in clear or black to match the frames. (Imagine those old long/big bathroom mirror corner L shaped tacks)
Command Strips will eventually let go. I worry that the mirrors could shatter if they fall. it looks great, though! Good scale and proportion for the space.
Very creative. Wow. Love when you can get the most out of something using your creativity and spare the dime on expensive alternatives. Gave the room a good dimension. Wow.
I love this 4 mirror idea. I just would have added a deep natural colored travertine paint finish to the frames to redo/hide the Walmart finish. Learning how to do specialty paint finishes helps to enhance inexpensive home decor items.
Oooh well I’ll admit I was feeling hella skeptical like knowing what the plan was and all, but girl it looks great!! The scale/heights of those mirrors are literally perfect for that space.🎀 great job on that idea
Very creative! Reminds me of a cheap hack I came up with when my wife and I had our salon built. We used Walmart book shelves for each station for our barbers and stylist. Turned out amazing, looked custom, and was a lot less expensive than traditional stations would’ve been. Good job sister… Seems like you have a very nice home.👊🏽💯
This looks really nice; good job! You could get some cheap trim in a similar style, paint it black, and add it around the outside so the inside strips and the outside frame would be the same width. That's the only thing I see right off that would improve the look. Then there's the tips on here about hammering small nails into the frame (NOT into the glass) to help hold the mirrors on the wall, which I think sounds like a smart choice.
🤌🏾 awkward dead spaces are the worst, you did a brilliant job
Agreed, love it!
Yes you did a awesome job in dead space
it's screaming rich vibes girlie!! Looks more expensive than $28 and it filled that corner space nicely.
Yaas girl !! It’s the budget friendly upgrade for me !riiich vibe 😂
@CrownedK my only recommendation is to be careful when you remove the command strips. We removed some of the wall with it. If it's hard to come off look at some videos first.
@@CrownedKthey came out amazing!
They do! ...until La Llorona comes out!
It makes it look so much taller and super luxurious. Possibly the BEST cheap diy I’ve seen online.
W❤W!! Looks beautiful
It also expands the space...Nice...
It really is!
Finally something we can all use and do ourselves in an hour!!!! Love it!!!
It did make a big difference. It looks luxurious
It makes that tiny space look bigger! Good job!
Yes, I like it, makes the space look huge.
Good scale and expansion. Note self recess space when I'm building an upstairs stairway.

I love how you used those mirrors. It really made your ceiling appear even taller ❤
Right

That's my concern also but, it's a great look.
Verticality? Oh my sides.
@@Rylo4040it’s a real word! I will file it away for future use along with musicality. 😊
Looks like a window…really opens up the space. Nicely done!😊
I absolutely love it! The examples that you showed before highlight the absolute brilliance of going the way you chose.

Nice! It makes the wall look taller, like the ceiling looks a little high, love that effect
It does!
It looks like an awesome window!
It looks fantastic!
Cute!!! Never would someone guess it was mirrors from Walmart. It’s reminiscent of a mirrored French door. I love it!!!❤️
Putting up all 4 mirrors amplifies that wall 😁”Yazzzz Hunty! That is fabulous 👏🏻😎
Thank you hunny ! 🤗
It's incredible what a difference the mirror sizing made. It looks really great with the big mirrors and opens up the small space so much 😊
Brilliant!! It 's exactly what that wall needed!!!

gorgeous - mirrors are miracle workers to expand our space - so is the color white. I laid white floors and it looks huge!

The most shocking part of this video is that the mirrors only cost $7 each!!! I thought several years ago they cost more than that! Great job!!!
Usually they're like $14 but Walmart has the 1/2 price when school (dorms) shopping starts
Love love love it. Totally transforms that space. Brilliant!!❤
Very sophisticated! Excellent job!! 🪞❤️
I love it! I’ve used mirrors like this to create visual space and dimension , it works!!❤ Yes follow the dang instructions! 😂
Reflects the light. Looks great.
