I’ve been doing martial arts for 25 years. I don’t know if we realize how amazing it is to have access to this kind of content, FOR FREE. And, it’s amazing to feel part of a growing world wide community. 25 years ago when you were practicing martial arts you didn’t have much people to share this passion with, apart from your teammates, at least here in France.
Thank you Gabriel and all the content creators that share with us amazing martial arts related videos.
It's a pleasure connecting with everyone around the world and sharing out passion together. 112,000 people here. Pretty amazing!
@@GabrielVargaOfficial I hope you can get so much more. Thanks for everything that you're doing.
@@GabrielVargaOfficial And you deserve every bit of it.
@@GabrielVargaOfficial can you make a video based on your demographics where mma /combat sports fan base is rising and which countries would do better in future.
Pro-Tip: use a dress after a fight, no shorts no pain
😄😅👏
Legitimately, wear a (well made) kimono. Comfy, loose and easy to put on and take off. Plus you keep your damn dignity!
Gabriel that slip combo you threw to the first knock down was beautiful. I must have replayed that x15
🙏🙏🙏
Bro your hands and combos are scary I’m almost 200 lbs and I still don’t think I could beat you and I consider myself well skilled but you are on a whole different level
Your ability to go back to the drawing board and work up a game plan and actually implement it successfully is true champion grit. Awesome stuff, Gabriel.
My kickboxing instructor was 6'6" about 230 lb and he did that roundhouse kick to a side or back kick, in an upward trajectory. The kick caught my buddy square in the nuts and lifted him off the ground. LMFAO one of the most brutal and hilarious shots I ever saw land. my friend was about 5'8 170 lb lol
Adamchuck is a dirty fighter. So glad you didn't get frustrated and played your game. At the end, the result was fair, the best fighter was you, by far.
It was most definitely this camp where you started throwing the roundhouse to corral your opponent. I remember it well because I was struggling to spar southpaw and you were crushing me with that that kick, 😂.
I also remember you switching to a more footwork focused defense and it was weird for the first two weeks. After that, you dialled it in and I struggled to get anywhere near you.
It really stands out in my memory because you had always found winning strategies within your own style and this was the first time I had ever seen you change your stylistic dynamics so much for a specific opponent. I had always respected your fight IQ and grit but I distinctly recall being extra impressed with this one. It was a cool experience to watch you figure it out and execute it so well. 🙏
Jack Dempsey and Joe Lewis did pretty good with picking their rear foot up when they threw the cross. I think it all depends on how you use it and your knowledge of delivering power
Varga def Adamchuk , Adamchuk def Grigorian, Grigorian def Superbon, Superbon def Petrosyan, Petrosyan def Kyshenko, Keyshenko def Alex Pereira, Pereira def Adesanya
So I guess Gabe's Adesanya vs Pereira breakdown is the best on RUclips?
math checks out.
Gabe >>>>>>> Adesanya
@@captainobvious.29yearsago70 well gabe probably is the better pure kickboxer
11:00 wow 🤩, that was a great wide left hook that got him down. Marvelous!
your channel is just so precious man,
if years back we had thought that champions would make their own review on the internet, nobody would have believed !
Love you champ ❤✊🏻
Noti gang where ya at btw that shirt is sick
Yeah. Love this rash guard 😀
@@GabrielVargaOfficial I will cop some thx for showing it in description
Thank you Gabriel.
amazing and insightful breakdown!
Great breakdown, I want to say thank you for all the information that you give out
as someone is still quite new to the fight game, these breakdowns are teaching me so much! Cant thank you enough for this awesome content, Gabriel - God bless
Gabe has got some really great boxing punch combinations! Always have to throw punches in punches. Great.
You're great Doug! Always love the content, especially the POLKer hands which I know you always love doing...!
The hand breakdowns are the best as despite your on screen personna being a bit bonkers, actually the hand breakdowns are done very scientifically and methodicaly and it's interesting to see the thought process at work.
You are perhaps a bit harsh sometimes - I think if you have a flaw with this stuff sometimes you just won't let stuff go (Alex Torreli) - Sometimes you just need to think 'Stop' they're already dead!'
The Berkey stuff is a bit annoying. I actually get your PoV on him but he's an interesting guy, he speaks very, and his podcast is quite fun to listen to. But beef is beet i guess!
Stay strong dude!
Thanks for the content Gabriel 👀
I love that tshirt. Reminds me of TMNT
I wonder if Adamchuck was actually aware that this hip kick works the way it does. If he was aware he might have been working on the psychological combat for the trilogy fight if it was ever gonna happen. I would be definitely terrified of that kick if i knew that the next month or so my hip would be so busted i could not sleep or wear jeans even. Nasty technique
fights are won and lost on strategy, great game plan and very well executed
His goal for that kick to the hip was not to cause you pain after the fight it was to immobilize your rear leg. I think he was aiming for the hip joint probably.
Awesome a master ken rashguard.
These videos are the best. Thanks!
Glad you like them!
@@GabrielVargaOfficial How would one go about getting a training session with you
Did he say *uck you when you touched gloves? Probably pissed about that lift ride
You need to do a live stream!
Youre the best
What are your thoughts on Petchpanomrung? was a fight between you to ever in the works? will you do a breakdown of his techniques in the future :) ?
Hi Gabriel, just watching your vid, how can you tell if your opponent is still hurt after a knockdown? Do you look in their eyes to see if they are glazed over? Or footwork is impaired? How do you tell? Love your vids 💪
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Do you have any tips to the people who have better kicks than punches, can you make a video about it ?
Unfortunately, headbutts usually happen when orthodox and south paws fight.
Adamchuk looked way too smug.
I’m wondering if you have any thoughts about job opportunities in the fight game if you can’t fight because of health issues or other things?
Thoughts on petch?
I still haven’t figured out how to fight south paws. It’s always backwards when your boxing a south paw. Makes everything awkward.
Maybe a year late but getting outside foot position always works for me
Is that shirt you're wearing in the store yet?
Do you fell like you lost the first fight?
13:00 throwing your right hand stepping in isn’t so bad. Gennady Golovkin uses it for shifting to set up his left hook.
Also look up Jack Dempsey’s falling step. Good way of transferring weight when moving forward.
