I went to New York once, my dad took me and my sister to see beauty and the beast on stage. After the show he asked if we should go down this alley and me and my sister both shot that down. Citing that didn’t work so well for Batman’s dad.

I just realized that him not seeing anyone else besides Batman as alive makes complete sense. He honestly acts like he’s playing a video game. Like everyone besides Batman and him are npc’s. He can slaughter and kill and it’s all just fun for him.
He basically lives inside a Gta game where he can rob anyone, kill anyone, traumatize anyone but can’t kill one of the main characters, Batman.

Am I the only one that enjoys the more grounded Batman comics that aren't all over the place with things like Supermen flying and Speedsters running? The Long Halloween and Batman Year One are both great examples of this.
Those are the best, but i can't find more good ones these days
They both have their charms, it’s always cool to see batman kick alien ass and talk with the other JL members but seeing Batman’s detective side and a super soldier level character (batman) beat the shit outta mercenaries and crime lords is also fun

Alfred truly was the heart of the Batfamily, even more so than Bruce or Dick could ever be. Challenge anyone to name a member of the Batfamily that didn't like Alfred by the end of their arc. And for what Bane did, I spit on him. When I read Knightfall, I loved Bane. He was so cool. But, from that day on, until the potential day of Alfred's resurrection, I will take the mantle of Spectre, just for that one man.

I like to think that Clark and the others know that Gotham needs to go nuts so Batman can protect it. Otherwise without that purpose Batman would turn his demons on other things. Maybe even them.

Today I realized adults have their own nighttime storytimes....and I'm not ashamed of it. Please keep the Batman storyline coming!!!
A good story for children would be the story of the hero conquering evil and learning a lesson. A good adult story goes deeper, helping us realize that the evil tends to make some really good points and might just be a hero in a different light.
Stories should transform you. If you walk away from a story the same, then the story was pointless.
Maybe that’s just me, though.

I've always wondered what does the rest of the world thinks when they see what's happening at Gotham. Like would the U.S. government not send in armed forces to bring peace? Or even more so where's the rest of the heroes like the justice league
In most comics Arkham is no longer considered apart of the US and is made it's own wasteland.

I mean, the whole of the US is full of supervillains and superheroes. Gotham is just particularly bad and it's a larger city. It's crime rates are probably comparable to Chicago, super-terrorism aside.

If everyone else was working on problems on the same level, then the country they live in should already be fucked, somehow a man at the speed of light cannot resolve issues in a city in like what, two days?
Simple answer, that would completely ruin the plot.
After reading Three Jokers, I like to imagine they destroyed the Monarch Theater, but the Gotham Historical Society was like "We need to rebuild it, and in the exact condition it was right before it was destroyed", and then this story happened.

You know, storylines like this one just makes me think: "Wait, where the hell is the Justice League? Where's Superman?" Seriously, I get they might have their own villains to deal with but this is an entire major city turning into a hellscape of anarchy and domestic terrorism. It should be a _big deal._

Flash is in forensics, Superman has supervision and hearing, Martian can just shapeshift into the villains and mindread and blend in...too bad they never do that.

I think it would be extremely interesting to see a comic where batman plays really dirty like he's sick of the criminals and is just ready for it to end. I mean like using deathstrokes daughter as a hostage and stuff kinda dirty. Maybe bring in the stuff from 3 jokers about him having a wife and son, have batman make a deal to sell joker their info and location if he stops crime and stuff. It'd be interesting to see what batman would do when he really is just sick of it all.
I wanna see a comic where the villains are not committing crimes but Batman CANT handle that. He thinks it just an act, but it’s just Batman going insane for a few issues
@@KumaoftheForest in the first part of the WhiteKnight series the joker goes sane and batman thinks its just an act and goes a little insane lol. Check the full story play list they did a 1 or 2 hour thing on it. I liked the story.

Considering Deathstroke is a mercenary that honors his contracts, it’s surprising that Batman never just puts him on the payroll
Deathstroke is a world class asassin, who probably costs a lot to just hire for one job. Keeping him on the payroll will cost Bruce a lot of money, not to mention that it doesn't seem that Deathstroke shares Batman's views about morality, so he will probably be very limited in what he can do if Batman would hire him, so Deathstroke will not do that. It also explains why Deathstroke never offered the idea himself.
I cannot wait when he does the young justice comic series from the TV series and then put it into a full story
In batman's vision of the perfect future he finally gets to work the day shift I feel that on a deep level.

As usual Red Hood is made to look weaker, dude was trained by Ras and the league of assassins', Batman, the All Cast and should by all means be the most dangerous of the Robins and honestly probably even more so than Batman in every way at this point.
Also, at this point Batman is about as effective a hero as a broken condom is effective birth control. I mean if he traded enemies for like a day with Constantine the Joker problem would be sorted permanently and Constantine wouldnt necessarily even need to kill him, just break his mind or seal his soul in some humiliating trinket and dump the trinket into some random ass void beyond space and time, not technically dead just in a vegetative state with no way of ever coming back to his senses.
Drop him Lucifers nightclub and that problem will be solved real quick, the one guy that could make even injustice Superman look restrained and patient if he snaps and Joker would definitely make him snap.... Actually that would be an amazing mini comic providing he survives Mazikeen's complete lack of tolerance for BS and sadistic nature.

I will say, I don't think the dramatic voice really fits for Alfred's lines here. Those feel more like slow, introspective moments, that would call for the calm voice of Alfred, not the BOMBASTIC, EPIC VOICE!!! Like the epic voice is good and all, but I think you really gotta work on where you use it.
