Yep I've had no bother with it. It doesn't have an especially wide range - vibrato only really. Whenever I use anything other than a Floyd or Evertune bridge I always get asked whether it stays in tune. These bridges have been around for decades. I think the Vibrola was used in the 50s. They have longevity for a reason.
@@hrgiger I know I know, but I've had very negative experiences with other guitars like the Jaguars and Jazzmasters which won't stay on tune while using the vibrato, quite a mood killer if you ask me
@@lordofmemes6535 I’ve been playing this model for about 7-ish months now and I was having issues with it going out of tune for the first few months, even after a proper set-up. Must’ve just been a break-in period because now I have no issues with it going out of tune
Thanks for demonstrating . Was going to ask the same question about staying in tune, but someone already asked. There’s conflicting tuning information on RUclips.
?? Have you played a genuine Gibson SG? I had a 61 reissue that I just sold but there are major tone differences especially if you take a 61 reissue and the Epi models. I had some Seymour Dunch high voltage pickups in mine. I’m in no way saying this guys epi or any epi is trash because I’m certainly not. I will even go as far to say in most cases they’re a bit more user friendly … and they undoubtably keep their tune better. Gibson will never learn with their damn headstock angle. But once you fix those issues you’d be silly to say an Epi is the superior. The quality is just a little lower in my opinion. Still bitching guitars though. Im not even a fan boy. Give me a nice fender and I’ll be happy.
Sounds VERY nice! Great playing!
To whom it may concern, is it possible to put an epiphone vibrola on an acrylic clear sg guitar?
Nice guitar
This is a beautiful model, does it stay on tune when you use the vibrato?
