This has over 10 times the views of the original Jason Molina song. Please watch him perform it live (the only youtube available). He was too good. God damn he was good.
anyone else notice that Jason died on a Saturday? Kinda gives me goosebumps at that part of the song..."Of heaven on a Saturday night, And I saw the light... I saw the light"
Beautiful version...and so sad to see Molina pass. One of those special musicians that was breathing his music at his finest. May his sounds echo onward...
Brilliant. Jason was a true genius and incredible talent. God rest his soul. He’ll be very missed by me and many others who appreciated his unique gifts.
For some people, home is not a destination. You can't punch it into your GPS and slide into the garage. You can't collapse on the couch and know that it is going to be ok. The big road becomes everything to you. Because it is the only thing you can count on to take you somewhere. anywhere. As a musician friends rotate, bands fall through, venues shut down. But the towns, the exits, and the gas pedal stay the same. Jason was the voice for these kind of people. Jason was it; all there was.
yea she's still not recovered, from what I can tell from the articles on the internet she's still very sick. I don't know her status on surviving, but I know that Bob is in Memphis where she is hospitalized most of the time.
That would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 20.83 hours of total watching in 7 days, meaning an average of 2.976 hours a day, or around 71 views per day for 7 days straight. Yes, I'm this bored at work. Moral of the story? I believe you
I don't mean to be rude, but when the hell are you guys gonna upload the videos from 2013 New Years? That was the best version of love and hate I've ever fucking seen! Also, that was me you guys ran off of the farm... Sorry... I didn't realize how creepy it was until you guys kicked me off... I'll never do that again... But you guys should totally come to Tulsa! I know the guy that runs the spirit bank event center, and I can guarantee that you guys will be sold out! Contact Todd Hiett.

That and the fact that the lyrics say "sometimes I forget that I've always been sick and I don't have the will to keep fighting it". Bless him.
:( First time I was introduced to Jason was when he was opening to the Avett Brothers back in '09. Rest easy Jason.
We miss you, Jason. Thank you for this, y'all, we are healing together.
