My drumming inspiration
Would definitely rate Matt McGuire over Cooper Drummer any day of the week! He seems so much more relaxed and not awkward. Just my opinion :-)

Matt, you are simply awesome. I don't know if anyone has pointed this out before, but I LOVE that all of your videos are 1 continuous cut. You don't have 6 angles, and 40 takes. Just one shot. I'm sure a few takes to nail it(or maybe not. You'd be the guy i'd believe nailed it in 1 take). Simply amazing, with even better energy.

These drums (like all mapex) sound like crap
+Stephen Oakes I personally (as a drummer and sound engineer) think Mapex are great drums to work with. This kit in particular (blaster series happens to be one of my favorites. Really nice warm tones but with a lot of punch. Dw however are my favorites to work with. The heavy lugs help kill the extra resonance on the drums and make them really easy to tune.
+Stephen Oakes the Mapex Sledgehammer, Blade, Brass Cat, and Nomad happen to be my favorite snares to work with too

I would just like to say to the person holding the camera. You do a GREAT FUCKIN' JOB. I love how you move up and down and kind of follow Matt's hands up and down.
