a good few years ago i was just scrolling through swapz website mostly looking for fishing gear as they dont allow rifles, when i spotted a listing for a nearly new Walther LGV for £100.....i called the guy up and it's a old chap who bought it a month or so earlier to despatch a few rooks in his garden and wanted to get some of his investment back, found out he lived in the next town over and i know just how many rooks are about so i arranged to meet and snapped it up....great rifle, by far my best springer and knowing just how much i paid for it just make me smile when i would need to spend 3 times that to replace it today......i also bought Weihrauch HW110 T Laminate from a club member who had it for less than 6 months from new, got that for £600
I learnt many many years ago when I used to buy used cars, as I couldn't afford new, you must not buy without seeing it. Other peoples ideas of 'good condition' and 'clean and tidy' were many times light years away from my definition.
cracking show boys one of the best video,s you.ve put out and gareth its nice to now that someone as exsperienced as yourself as been had. and i dont mean that in a nasty way but it is that easy.a really informative show guys brilliant i look forward to the next.
Thanks buddy yes there is some sneaky beggars out there but hopefully this might make people remember not to do what I did lol ( and it was a long time ago haha)
Great review guy's, I usually buy new, but I bought an FX Impact mk1 secondhand a few years ago, from a guy from the original Airgun Forum, which was a bit of a gamble, I was an avid member then, but I did my background checks on the seller, he was highly recommend, so after an inspection the Impact was mine, however on the flip side I would not purchase from "Joe Bloggs" off an Internet seller, having said that I sold the Impact to another Airgun Forum member, who like me was highly delighted with the Rifle. 👍
Really useful tips there - like most people (I assume) I would prefer to buy new, but if I was in the market for a gun right now, the new prices (looking at you pro-sport) would make me wince and consider 2nd hand.
I'd only consider a used springer, simple and straight forward for parts and repairs (usually)..... PCPs, not so much, seems there's more that can fail and repairs, if there's someone close by, not usual where I live are more expensive.
Hi guys words of wisdom needed. Own a airarms s200 t. pcp air rifle Want to fit iron sights but cannot find any designs that fit to the narrow sight rails. Anyone on any useful links ?

ProSport
Oh and....
ProSport 😂
So you recommend the Pro sport? Hahaha
I'll be honest, I'd rather save up my pennies and buy the gun new unless I knew the seller really well.
A used springer yes, a used pcp from a person you don't know is a big risk. To many parts on a pcp that can be messed up.
That's not black pepper laminate looks more like walnut to me
It definitely is black pepper and not walnut mate, it’s just manky. Watch this space I’ll put pics up of when it’s done
Manky it's brown not black and grey
